I liked the newsroom but I can't say that it is anywhere close to neutral. Sorkin does try a bit, but it is quite clearly a left leaning show and can be incredibly heavy handed about things. It is however very entertaining and well performed.

There is a TV Series that dives into that idea and tries to create that neutral news broadcast. Television is called Newsroom, and for the most part the series does that the fictional News Program in the show. It lasted three seasons was a great show. Great cast too: Jeff Daniels, Sam Waterson, Emily Mortimer, Dev Patel, Alison Pill, Olivia Munn, David Harbour, and Chris Messina just to name a few. Highly recommend this show.

2024-11-05 15:23:28 +0000 UTCLove me some Alan Moore adaptations lol The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen will always be my favourite with Constantine and V for Vendetta hot on its heels I'm sad to say I've never read/seen Watchmen 🫣 it's on my to-do list I swear! P.S I've dabbled in the graphic novel but only what my library could offer which was only 2 issues so also on the to-do list 😅🤣🤣
