2024-08-22 08:06:32 +0000 UTCYeah you guys had way too high of expectations for this movie franchise lol. It's great for what it is which is a pure slasher movie. They're typically made on shoestring budgets and the story is rarely the selling point. The lore is often interesting but like Final Destination or the Saw franchise it's really about the kills. Especially since these were originally targeted towards mainly teens.

2024-07-07 01:35:09 +0000 UTCJust finished and it's honestly a reoccurring theme (for awhile I think I remember) with the camp and the councillors/teenagers and I always felt Jason's was more of a revenge story (undeserved for those poor councillors/teenagers) more than he's just a sociopathic murderer and that him and his mother weren't biased and thus all camp councillors/teenagers were guilty of the sins of the councillors/teenagers before them that let him drown but I loved this reaction Roxy and Tara have made this series very enjoyable so far and I laugh everytime I hear "Freddy" instead of "Jason" it's understand they binge watched a lot of Freddy so I can't hold that against them for them forgetting the name 🤣❤️❤️❤️
