There were multiple factors this week, including terrible heat, wasp stings, general burnout+stress, and me hectically trying to move everything to a new website to avoid my work to be scrapped posted without my consent(or at least limit such activities greatly).
IMPORTANT: To read the chapter as a patron, just press the 'Log in with Patreon' button and verify your Patreon account, and all the patron chapters of your tier will become visible. If that doesn't work, contact me, and I'll trouble-shoot any issues with you.
I have been toying with the idea of having a website of my own, and FableWeaverwas kind enough to lend me his expertise for a price. You can log in to the website with your Patreon account and see the respective chapters of your tier. You can see all the chapters of the fic, artwork, etc. I believe the interface is intuitive enough to use, and if you have any questions, let me know in the comments below.

Thanks anyway. If you really want to point out the edits in the future, you can select a paragraph, which will give you the 'suggest' option, so you don't have to copy-paste or write out things in patreon replies.

2025-08-15 23:31:41 +0000 UTCEdit: Disregard, the new site has on-page TTS integrated, it's sick. There doesn't appear to he an option for background play, but that's a small price to pay to at all retain that functionality. Disappointed that none of my usual tools work for downloading and reformatting text seem to work for the new format, but I understand that this is the intended effect and why it's necessary. Thankfully I'm invested enough in CoF's conclusion to happily make the time to actually read the thing properly, rather than alternating between reading and TTS as is my wont. Currently stuck watching a documentary about Stephen King's Carrie, the Musical, but will post any notable nitpicks later - thanks in advance for the chapter, and for sharing your brain with us for a time.
