Hades II Story Poll
Added 2024-05-11 04:20:36 +0000 UTCBeen playing some Hades II in early access, and have gotten some ideas about stories I'd like to do (time willing). Below are the story descriptions, as well as the poll. Got some other ideas involving shrinking magic, the hot springs, and Artemis as well, but gonna stick with these as a starting point.
1. Eris - After another failed attempt, Melinoe respawns at the Crossroads to find Eris waiting for her. And as expected from Strife Incarnate, her intentions are anything but pure. Unarmed and with nowhere to retreat, Melinoe can only hope the troublesome goddess loses interest in her quickly… and that her frequent snacking doesn't make her too gassy.
2. Hecate - After Melinoe laments how embarrassing she finds being polymorphed into a sheep, Hecate takes her feedback into consideration… by transforming her into panties instead. Going forward, the princess of the underworld will either need to “get good” at dodging such hexes or learn to endure such degradation. After all, modesty should be among the least of her concerns if she is to succeed in her grim task.
3. Nemesis - While descending into the underworld, Melinoe has a run in with Nemesis and enters into a wager - whoever kills more foes takes the other’s gold. When Melinoe loses and sheepishly reveals she never had any gold in the first place, Nemesis decides to take an alternative form of pavement - one as unorthodox as it is disgusting. Needless to say, Melinoe will regret being on the bad side of Retribution Incarnate.
