Thankyou for the replies guys. You're an awesome bunch.
The general consensus seems to be you guys are happy with my output on the whole, but would appreciate a more regular upload pattern and/or more advance communication on what to expect in a given month.
I'm gonna try and do both.
What, like a Roadmap or something?
Something like that, yeah. Maybe a post detailing what I aim to do each month, with a weekly update/revision. I might try out a few different formats/layouts initially, but I imagine this to be a relatively simple list with a few notes.
About posting paid content throughout the month
I hear ya. It's something that I used to manage, way back, so is not impossible. It's just... Actually, what I'm working on right now is a great example..
The next 3 pages of the Totally Wild sequence follow on closely from each other, with the body fur on each page getting slightly and slightly more developed (longer, thicker, darker and also less frizzy).
Image 1 requires extra time making sure the lights and background are all good.
Images 2+3 require less time on the background (as it's unchanged from #1) but I do have to check there aren't any leaves poking through things they shouldn't because someone moved an arm. The rest of the time is spent trying to balance evolution and continuity.
By that I mean, the image must change, but in a way that makes sense considering the previous and following image.
Everything was going relatively well for the first 2, then I noticed after about an hours rendering on page 3, the fur was actually looking thinner, more sparse and generally just shit. (Yesterday I spent at least half of a 10 hour day trying to solve this)
Eventually, I found a fix, BUT if I hadn't, I woulda had to go back and re-render parts 1&2 for continuity with a lesser fur coat.
To give another example of an example,

Mia's skirt. Here, I think it looks 'okay'. Not amazing, but I like the sheen and the translucency.
However, when I went to render this shot,

Skirt was way too transparent and shiney (standing that much further from a wall meant the light was able to bounce around from behind that much clearer), so I changed it. Made it thicker, duller, but I think works better for this image.
Working on a batch of a few at a time gives me more flexibility which I feel benefits the paid work.
Not the most obvious or drastic of examples, but this is the kinda thought process that applies to each asset in a scene, be it dialogue, clothing, lighting, shapes, whatever.
So, more regular uploads or not?
As a few of you have guessed, this shit takes time. Sometimes a lot. More often than not, I'm working right up to the last minute before an upload. That said, I'm gonna try to upload the paid stuff on a more regular basis (while sill trying to work in batches) as and when I can.
This isn't a promise, it's a somewhat enthusiastic goal I aim for while trying to maintain the daily uploads.
TL:DR
You rock
Gonna try to maintain a release roadmap
Moar uploads moar often
I ramble and am not concise

Yeah keep it up, also maybe make Mia lightly more catty, paws, nylons, that would be hot.
