April shuffled haphazardly towards the daggers of light that cut into the apartment, yawning and smacking her lips as she walked. Bare feet slapped the warm polished floor while long limbs swung freely at her side. Irma's startlingly bright greeting was such that April flinched suddenly.
"Morning April... Boy, someone looks like they had fun last night. Did ya sleep well? Hey, thanks again for letting me crash. Should only be for a couple nights or so"
The sleepy auburn tilted her head sideways in mild bewilderment, she vaguely remembered consenting to such, though she had been quietly hoping for some quality alone-time, while her beau Casey was away with the hockey team.
It's not that she and Irma didn't get along. They'd worked together for years now, first as reporter and camera woman, now as presenter and producer.
No, April was very fond of Irma, she just found her a little... annoying at times was all.
Irma was usually oblivious to this it seemed, and this morning was no different. She fussed and flittered about the kitchen not achieving an awful lot of anything other than a clattering din.
The noise, the sunlight... Irma. Even the smell of the coffee was all a bit much all of a sudden and made her head begin to swim.
