Fanart Drop

Today, I’m rounding up another huge collection of fanart submissions from the community! I want to take a moment to thank everyone once again for your enthusiasm, I’m always humbled that so many of you are inspired to create based on my work.
In order of appearance:

Our first pieces come courtesy of Furlana, who was commissioned by community member Kara to draw Ambassador Holly from Firebrand wearing a lovely maid outfit. I always get a kick out of seeing Jarilans in clothes, and this is no exception. The detail on Holly’s pearlescent carapace and soft fur is very impressive, and I love the antennae. Jarilans are a species that’s really hard to get down, and Furlana absolutely knocked it out of the park here.

Joseph C. Virtuoso brings us some Rask artwork commissioned by Kara, and some Sastrugi artwork commissioned by Hazmatradio. I absolutely love this rendition of a Rask mercenary, the proportions, the background, the attention to detail with the clothing and rifle, and the abs! I don’t think anyone could have done it better.
The Sastrugi (affectionately nicknamed Soggies) haven’t even been featured in a story yet, but they’re already becoming a fan favorite. It’s very cool to see art of them so early, and just like the Rask, the anatomy here is immaculate. I love the musculature, the four eyes look great, and I really like the arctic backdrop that hints at their origins.
I’m really impressed with Joseph’s work and I may try to commission him for an official project at some point.

Delta_V, notorious Valb enjoyer, is back with more impeccable art of our favorite bird lizards. Featured is a comic strip commissioned by RipleyRiley featuring a Valbaran enjoying a quiet domestic life with her Earth’nay. I can’t get enough of these comics.

Pastamist brings us a chance meeting between two deadly adversaries! What would happen if a Rask met a Werewolf? The answer may shock you!
We also have a Rask mercenary trekking through the desert!

Phrannd has submitted a very nice rendition of a Borealan pumping iron in what looks like a carrier’s gym. Gotta keep those high-G muscles in tip top shape while operating in Earth-standard if you don’t want to lose mass. This is just a classic look, I love everything about it. You can’t go wrong with a loose tank top and gym shorts.

KOWT returns with some more Valbaran art for us, featuring a strapping war deity complete with a lovely tribal backdrop. I always appreciate KOWT’s ability to emulate traditional paper and ink in his pieces, and his stocky style really works well for these characters. We also have some concept art for a Valbaran amputee who looks like a seasoned General, and one with a mean eye patch!
He’s also included a very sleepy Krell who is getting ready for bed with a cup of warm Jarry juice.

Spooky Rockfall brings us an exhibit in a Valbaran history museum. A visitor admires an ancient stone statue of a primitive war deity, complete with exaggerated feminine features and a traditional club weapon. Its size and craftsmanship are equally impressive. Could this statue have stood in some forgotten Valbaran temple before being painstakingly moved to the city for display? One can imagine the red pigments used to color the feathers, perhaps now faded by time and weathering.

Mr.Chair returns with some more Valbaran art. We’ve got a Valb in a shiny dress, clearly out to impress the boys at a local lounge. We’ve got a Valb dancing, and a two-panel story of a Valb discovering the joys of instant noodles, sure to be a hit import on her homeworld.

SketchyWarrior has submitted some drawings of the Coalition on manuever encountering the deadly enemies of the alliance, crabs and roaches! Following is a UNN tank commander giving instructions for a mission, and some Borealans admiring a Coalition armored vehicle that has stopped by their village.

And finally, from Bigpeenhaver, we have a slam dunk!
