Added 2023-07-14 07:10:21 +0000 UTCThe eldest son of the Akoll family was groomed to take over the family business, and so mostly focused on his education and apprenticeships. Kassen, as the 2nd child, also undertook these studies and apprenticeships but also spent a lot of his time taking part in the raising of his four younger siblings.
As such, he tended to be the favorite family member amongst the four youngest Akolls, and as much of a parental figure as mom and dad.

I don't know if the war he fled is still going on, but he made it through spatially if not temporally, even before getting transformed. Maybe it's debatable because he deserted, and "making it through" assumes that one takes the honorable path?
