Out-Of-Placers #115

You may have noticed that this page is coming in rather late in the month! This is because the experimental production-line method I tried last month was a fantastic success, and I've been using most of this month cranking out sketches and inks to establish a buffer (finally).

This will help ensure there are far fewer inconsistencies in the post schedule, and maybe even allow for a steady posting on a scheduled day of the week soon, so here's hoping!

 Raptie does character colors/shading!

Candy! No parents! Continued candy! The opposite of food! Chocolate! Milk and Dark! In my mouth! A sweet tooth! Black licorice! Other candies that are dark! Rock candy! Jolly Ranchers! Candy! No parents! Delicious candy! Kinda makes it better!

The trade master would probably be better off keeping those kids quiet by making them servants and putting them on the payroll. It's a win-win. The urchins get three guaranteed meals a day and a comfortable place to sleep, and Viracroix can keep everyone who knows this dirty little secret close by! Probably better than just giving them candy and praying they don't figure out that if they gossip, he won't actually have any way of knowing.

Patrick Johnson

Yeah; at the very least it'll mean a consistent 4 pages a month instead of 3, which is still great!

Candy with CONDITIONS

Time to see if the ''public education initiative'' has a lesson on the Streisand effect. One more fun thing to ponder about as this new day begins to unfold. As always, a thank you for this joy and congratulation on finding a more satisfying way to do this thing.

Free candy? OwO

Ngrasta

Depends on the quality of the sugar

Well they've been smart enough to stay alive on the streets so far, hopefully that says something about their wiseness when it comes to such things!

Val Salia

If so, they'd better KEEP THEIR MOUTHS SHUT ABOUT IT

Val Salia

He definitely smiles a lot more, that's for certain!

Hmmm... What's the betting those delightful urchins get candy-greedy and start some serious snooping in the hope of seeing even more they need to keep quiet about? Can sugar-rush secret agents be trusted?

Richard Weir

I feel like one of those kids is going to get too smart for their own good and ask for two pieces of candy a week eventually...and the other kid will end up receiving said two pieces per week and a very valuable life lesson about what happens when you try to play a player.

Max Last

His soldiers might hear about that sweet candy deal.....😏

Vet

That last panel feels like Lord Vetinari but with more energy in his personality. I love it.
