Happy Merry! + what's coming this week

Heyyyy you all, this seems like a to remind you all just how much I appreciate your support. I know that's not at all uncommon for people with Patreons to say, but my god do I ever mean it. It's not just the ability to focus full-time on comics that you give me, but tons of motivation and mental support as well, knowing that there are people out there feel the work I do is worth a bit of their hard-earned money. It's the kind of thing that I think about often, which gives me a little extra boost of motivation to do a bit more work in any given day.

...On that note! I began trying a different sort of comic production line method this month, noticing that I seemed to lose a lot of time from switching focus between sketches/inks and the other aspects of comic production. Instead, I tried crunching out the sketches and inks of multiple pages at once, handing them off to my colorist, Raptie, then getting right back into the sketches and inks for the next page.

You may have noticed that there's only been one comic post this month so far! Well as it so happens, the sketches and inks for *three more pages* are finished, and Raptie is working diligently to get the last two colored and shaded.

Doing the math, you'll notice that this puts the number of comics done this month to FOUR, as opposed to the usual three! So it looks like this method will result in an extra page being done each month, at the very least.

It ALSO means that, since it's a front-heavy process, and I just started this month, it resulted in a bit of a delay at the beginning of the month. I think that in the future I'll use this method to establish a buffer, and/or a predictable release schedule...

But this month? I'm going to get them all finished and posted over the next week. So that means, my Christmas gift to you is going to come in the form of three comic pages in under a week! : D
