I got over it years ago, but I used to be non-plussed by children, so I get where Kass is at. But I really want Kass to meet a 2 month old trying really hard to figure something out and getting frustrated with being a yinglet/other yinglets and have a 'That's my pony!' moment. Bonus points for ill-timed town bell coinciding with first singular stirring of biological clock.

Are fur/eye patterns/colors inherited? Because if so, I'm guessing thats Beziel's broodling who climbed the highest then harked up a load of pre-digested everything they fed him plus a large helping of dirt off the floor. oh em gee, what if it's female? Vizlet mostly seems really patient and proud of anything the other females in the enclave can manage, but I can't imagine how closely she'd be watching a female child of Beziel and hoping.

Think that might be the one that knits, just colorless either just because, because there is little or no light in the younglet quarter (only light is fire, fire and adult yinglets is a big enough problem) or comic is from Kass' viewpoint which is now only seeing the memory of her because of floof mask.

The care-taker has a small tooth. I know the females were all introduced earlier, but i have to wonder if that was just the 'fertile' members. Clutch size, gender radio and estimated number of members in the enclave suggest there should be more females (unless there's an undisclosed mortality rate?) At any rate, nice to get a wider look at yinglet society. The younglets are adorable, even if a bit messy.
