Added 2018-02-04 23:21:12 +0000 UTCIsher was incredibly freaked out by her sudden change in gender, especially given the incredibly high amount of testosterone the males in her nonhuman parent species' DNA. The resulting flood of hard muscle, body hair, and masculine thoughts seemed to emphasize the imposing traits she had always tried to minimize in herself as a female, as if mocking her.
Lopin, however, was immediately smitten with the even-larger, bulkier male Isher. He orbited man-Isher like the moon around the planet afterwards, always attentive to Isher's needs and sensitive moods, encouraging Isher to try embracing her new masculinity.
With a trusted confidant to try it out with, Isher slowly became more attuned to her masculine side, and eventually began to enjoy expressing herself in more assertive and masculine ways.
By the time a year had passed, Isher had developed a rather extreme interest in flaunting her new appearance and manly swagger, catching the eyes of many local ladies. While he performed a great many sexual conquests, there was only room in his heart for the little guy who stayed by his side from the beginning.
She found that Lopin seemed to enjoy being treated with a bit of light domination by those larger than him; and since she found herself enjoying acting the part of the confident, in-control male, they both were happy to play out their favored roles in private with each other.
Also they could do this without splitting Lopin in half because magic

He presumably wouldn't turn down a female if one were available, though, or he probably wouldn't emphasize how "so -so- pretty" Kassen is. I'm glad Isher is able to come out of her/his shell so quickly after opportunity strikes. :) It's heartening for the rest of us.
