2018-01-30 05:52:41 +0000 UTCRan is an interesting guy! So he likes living in visibly inhospitable places, perhaps in order to discourage others from settling in. Yet he wants to settle someone in with Yannit... which actually seems like a good idea. Yannit's probably starting to wonder whether anyone is making the effort to figure out what she should be doing, and may be getting worried. I wouldn't be surprised if that's something you can take for granted in indrel society. Ran is too busy to introduce her to Val Salian society, but she'll need someone to show her the ropes or she's likely to mess up and get discouraged and/or imprisoned (or terminated--rather cold alternative!) That said, Isher is the obvious choice--she's hanging around anyway to keep Kass company, and has been through the same experience of entering society as an outsider (physically and geographically) and needing to find her place.
