-Of foremost importance is having a wide spread of the shade of light blue that the yinglets have come to perceive as a cultural mating indicator. Light blue conveys this in general (and looks oh so cute on me, yes yes!), but there appears to be a spread of psychological preferences (or difference in eyesight/color perception?) among the general population of big handsome ying-boys, so simultaneously displaying as many slight variations of the central color results in a much higher attraction rate than presenting oneself in a single shade.
Moreover, the effect is vastly heightened when presented in a wider variety of ways (cloth, feathers, jewelry, etc), so a combination of as many presentation styles as possible is paramount in achieving greater results. Already the boys follow my every word, and my influence grows. Soon, I may exert direct control over more of the local population than even the Patriarchs! All shall know my name!
Or failing that, perhaps I can woo the hunky Patriarch Kattajak into taking me as his official bedboy... either way, my great works continue.
