Damn! those jerks!! :O -_- & true! ;) though I still dont know how to set up bones & posing them & stuff let alone make a character from scratch!~ XD

Yeah, Blizzard was shutting down popular 3D smut artists back in 2016, but I think they've chilled out since then. That said, you could avoid having to worry about this if you just make your own sexy 3D ladies, like I did. ;3c

AzureSentinel

Oooh ok! well I just wanna put bellies on these sexy ladies & put em in sexy poses~ ;P & thanks my dude! this was pretty helpful! maybe I'll play around with the idea of comms or something? though I'm probably gonna avoid blizzard stuff when it comes to exclusivity! my buddy was saying they hate Overwatch characters being sexualized!~ XD

Honestly, MOST companies are fairly lenient when it comes to art. Plus, the way Patreon and other places operate, there's a certain level of plausible deniability that the money being paid to them is specifically for the fanart. An easy way to think about it is that a copyright holder has to prove the fan creation in question has a demonstrable negative impact on their copyright. What this normally means are fanproject games that use assets ripped directly from the original material OR look so similar to the original iconography as to confuse the layman about it being a fanwork or official materials. This is why fanart is *usually* safe, even if you monetize it.

AzureSentinel

I see that makes sense! & I figure the copyright holder would be more upset about this being used since the models are ripped straight from the game vs me spending hours drawing their characters with a twist~ ;P cuz real talk none of these big companies arent gonna tap into making pregnant ver of their models to profit off of! lol still makes me wonder how people get away with posting so much of their Blender/SFM content on here? :P well any ways I appropriate the info my dude! I probably will just keep posting it for free to be safe~ :)

On a legal level, it all comes down to if the copyright holder decides to submit a C&D order against you. Fanart is always in a grey area since it is technically illegal to make money from fanart, but again, it comes down to if the copyright holder files anything against the person making the fanart. Valve tends to not do that, but since I don't know who owns the other character, I can't say. On the 3D art level, I'll be interested in seeing what you can do once you really start developing your 3D art skills.

AzureSentinel

Thank you kindly my dude! glad you like what you see~ ;)
