Chapter 1 - The school bully, Cole.

First of all - thanks for the support on A Village Corrupted's demo, and sorry that this update is slightly later than planned!
Chapter 1 is now available here for Patreon supporters. I'll upload the public version of Chapter 1 onto itch (and here for free members) shortly after Chapter 2 has been released here. I'm not sure when that will be, but hopefully not too long. I've found the last minute quality checking in Twine to be more of a task than I had originally thought!
This updated version includes:
Chapter 1 (including 7 ways to corrupt Cole). The 'recon' pages come with disclaimers/warnings for each sin route before each chapter begins - some of the scenes (particularly Wrath) for Cole are extreme/taboo so please check these beforehand.
Furthering of the protagonist's relationship with Shepherd, Nathan, and his father.
Minor/bug updates:
Slight re-ordering of future chapters, based on how I see the story going (Iain and Duncan have swapped).
Some added warnings for scenes with m/f pairings - let me know if these work well? M/F scenes will be used very sparingly, but I felt that they are important for setting up some of the resident's stories.
Fixed an issue where some character avatars would not appear correctly.
Added a skip to Chapter 1 function.
Hope you like the new content. I'll post in a week or two to lay out the plan for Chapter 2, which will focus on Tommy, Duncan, and possibly some extra user interface features that I am thinking of adding.

I really liked chapter one - corrupting Cole is super hot! My favourite path is Greed, with Sloth and Envy as close second picks 🔥 I’m keen to play through chapters 2 and 3 when I get time

2025-04-17 19:01:33 +0000 UTCHey, I wasn't sure how people would respond to those exact two routes in particular, so I'm really glad you enjoyed :) Also that's noted! My plan is to incorporate the MC in almost every scene from Nathan's chapter onwards. My idea was to include a range of ways to corrupt the targets, without the MC getting into too many repetitive scenes himself directly by the time Chapter 10 comes round. Especially because the more 'immediate' corruption form would be more personal/meaningful when used between the MC and the characters in the later chapters, so I've made them fall once his radiance is more 'developed'. Thanks for the support in general too :)

2025-04-02 21:14:15 +0000 UTCThoughts on Chapter 1 (SPOILERS BELOW) I did enjoy chapter one, especially the envy and wrath paths that were standouts for me. However, I hope MC gets more involved with how the paths play in the future, as it was a little disappointing that it was more of him seeing the future (just being a voyeur), especially since Cole bullied him, it would have been neat for more MC involvement. Although, I get why since it was the first person he was using it on so I can get why he couldn't have fully corrupted him himself. I really liked the dynamic with the MC, Nate, and the Shepherd, and I cannot wait to see how their paths play out. Lots of good foundations stuff laid out for the future.
