Some character sketches
Added 2025-10-19 18:55:32 +0000 UTCMeet Steve, grunt, follows the rules. His two squadmates get to spend some quality time in the med bay after the events in biolab. Rather than giving him some time off, command paired him up with one of the mercs that happened to be avaiable: Sam. She's all better now, but perhaps not ready to go back out there, yet. She has been through serious stuff after all. Some nice and relaxed guard duty might be just what she needs.
On base, mercs need to wear the same uniforms as the troopers, except without a rank. Mercs get a little triangle on their shoulders for identification. Besides the actual clothes, the army's strict regulations don't apply to mercs.
Steve does not approve (sort of, it is complicated).

This was a practice drawing that turned into something more. I might use these 2 in an upcoming story. Perhaps.

Lol surely Sam is their top breeder at this point.

2025-10-20 05:43:06 +0000 UTCThe obvious choice is to have Sam have some residual "corruption" from the Biolab incident, then go down on Steve there.. but in a 'harmless' way.
