Weekly Update! Kaneki x Sable Project WIPs!!! Also more commission progress!

Hey everyone!!!!

I'm still a little rough but feel so much better this week! Got a lingering cough but I'm over the worst of it all :)

Now, there has been a lot of progress for the Kaneki x Sable project, and I even completely changed the environment from what I had originally started to set up. It was in one of the rooms in Léry's Memorial Institute, but it wasn't feeling right to me. While I was playing DBD in the evening, I ended up on Greenville Square. As I entered the entrance of the cinema and saw pink lighting and neon lights on the wall, I knew it was the place! I also got slapped about by some demon Nea but what can you do ^_^


Overall I'm very happy with the lighting but there are still some improvements to be made. it's mainly on the POV shots and the one camera angle from behind them both which suffers the most and needs more tweaking.


Above you can see a POV from Sable which I'm not super happy with, for one the clothed version hides us from seeing much but even in the nude one the lighting isn't great around both groins. It's a camera I'm going to do some more experiments on, maybe raising the camera some more so even in the clothed version we can see down below and 100% making the lighting brighter around the groins and less rim lights around that area.


Kaneki's POV isn't bad but Sable's hair is a bit crazy and is actually clipping into the floor alot, I'd rather her hair come down behind her neck more and this gives a little bit of an impression that she has short hair. In terms of lighting I think of her face it's quite flat and I'd like to boost the brightness on one side more while making the other darker. Only other thing I want to do is have her hold onto Kaneki's kagune .

It's only lighting I want to tweak in this scene as there are issues where Kaneki's shirt isn't casting shadows properly and for some reason to me Sable's butt texture is looking a little weird with the light reflections.

This is the last angle I was testing and the lighting I'm happy with but I'm still debating on twisting the camera to the side more, I don't want to go to far because then we will have what the first camera angle shows. There was another camera angle looking top down but with his Kagune the composition just looked too messy to see what was going on so I scrapped it.

Also below is a very cursed image of something that happened while I was setting up the mating press position. I wanted Kaneki to be squatting rather than on his knees like he is now. As you can see that went wrong! Now I know what caused this as when I was making Kaneki's body proportions look less weird I moved and scaled down some bones slightly which as first seemed fine but when I did this pose it created this abomination!
I panicked quite a bit as it seemed like an issue where I might have to re-do his model but I went with his knees down instead which hides this issue very nicely. The issue is still there and whenever I next do a animation with Kaneki I will rebuild his model.

Onto the commission stuff!!
I was silly and started working on the wrong scene first so I've actually got images for the next two positions for you all to see :)
The next position for the commission is a cowgirl one! Also with this Ada's top is now ripped showing off her boobs. This will run for 75 seconds and half way through we switch from Susie thrusting up to Ada bouncing up and down.



For the position that I accidentally started doing but isn't the next part I'll be animating is a missionary position! The same as all the cowgirl positions you can find nude version of all the images at the top of this post.


The lighting in the missionary position is older than the cowgirls lighting but when I move onto this part of the project they will look the same in terms of lighting.

Yikes that was a lot of images to dump on you all D: sorry for the book I've written here but for anyone that has gotten to this point, hey! <3 you're awesome!
