Weekly Update! Commission Progress! Updates on the Huntress project! :)

Hi everyone <3

I've been working a lot on the commission as classic cloth physics was trying to kill me but for the most part I've got all of them where they either don't flicker at all or do it a tiny amount! So that is a win for me ^_^ This first scene is now 75 seconds long and it's pretty much done now so I will be moving onto the next scene next week :D Now that all the cloth physics foundations are set up, we should encounter fewer issues with them from now on.

The intro bit has been changed where Susie's hand grabs Ada from the back of her head now:

 
Also there is more varying speed and subtle movements from Ada and Susie to mix things up a teeny bit:

 
Lastly there is a POV shot from Susie for the last 30ish seconds:

 
I ended up spending an extra day working on the commission as it the cloth physics had bested me and I was having major issues with it slowing down the Blender file but I have fixed all that now and I can work in sweet harmony :)


Now onto the Huntress project! I have extended the animation out to 20 seconds and added an extra camera angle in. Did all my usual stuff of adding more subtle movement to mix it up a little and I made some changes where she moves her right hand more intensely than before.

 
I also worked on the deform around her anus as I found a glaring issue where the deform I set up didn't move with her hips at all which was causing very weird issues! So I made it so it would move with the hips and also smoothed out the deform weight painting as it was too harsh in some areas.

 
One thing I forgot to do was animate the trees so the shadows moved!! This is why I need to write things down because I forget so easily >_< Also there is some clipping with two of Huntress's fingers in this close up so I need to fix that D:

Overall though this animation is pretty much finished! I'm going to create an edit of these two camera angles and extend it out to 2 minutes and then I will send it off to the voice actress and get that going! :D I don't think it will be ready for next week but I shall try my best to aim for that

Oh I also added a little lip biting animation! It's cute :D


Also here is a new daylight lighting version! The old one was way too yellow and this looks a lot better in my opinion



That's all from me for now though :) I'm thinking of setting up another poll for the next short animation! So keep an eye out for that next week. I'm going to look at ways of condensing the options as there are so many characters in DBD now D: I can list all of them but as far as I'm aware Patreon has a limit of 28 or 30 options on a single poll.
