Procedure was a success!

Just a little update for you all but my procedure yesterday went very well! :D I wasn't fully unconscious but I was heavily sedated so I don't remember much of what happened but the procedure took an hour and 30 minutes and the majority of that was cleaning out the giant abscess I had.
I do have images of when they scanned my jaw (it looks a lot like an x-ray) of where the abscess was before they cleaned and removed it and a scanned model of my jaw bone so I might 3d print that for the heck of it. I can post some of these images here if anyone is curious but they all look like X-ray scans so you won't be seeing anything gross unless you find that gross ^^
Part of my face is a bit swollen and they warned me there is a chance of that happening and if it did I need to phone them back so I can get a prescription for antibiotics but everything is still okay :D
But it all went well and that's the main thing :) Apparently, I was talking a lot while I was sedated so let's hope I didn't talk too much about what I do for work >_<
Back to full force on getting all the sound work done! I'm aiming for Friday to have the clothed version out for you all! the nude version will follow shortly after :D

The only other thing I was thinking is adding it as images people could download so it's up to them if they want to see it or not but I shall think about it for now. Also it shouldn't come back as the hole that caused it all has been filled :)

And I would actually like to see that ... but I think you shouldn't post them here/as regular posts.. as it would break the artsy stuff.. now that creators can create chats I think that would be a great way to share stuff like that or feature updates ? :) Because that's more personal/private life.. yk ? :) Hope the thing doesn't come back :( xxORI

I'm just super glad it's over! I can move my mouth without feeling this horrible thing there :D Thank you so much for the lovely words! you are too kind to me! <3

Maybe eat some ice cream, preferably sorbet without any milk and stuff. Maybe popsicles. Sending lots of love and best wishes to you and Huggies! Take a rest <3

2024-07-23 07:18:40 +0000 UTCDon't worry I will be phoning them as soon as they open which is only 10mins away :) Better to be safe than sorry with it. I was surprised as well but they told me they would only do it if there was swelling & pain 24-48 hours after the procedure was done

2024-07-23 06:59:11 +0000 UTCDefinitely watch the swelling and don't be shy to phone in for antibiotics. Honestly surprised they didn't give you any to take home initially. Be sure to avoid yogurt and anything else that contributes to pro-biotics while you recover!
