Who Are: The Greater Draconians (Preview)

Hello, and welcome! It's been a while!

Fair warning: this post is going to be quite long, so strap in!

So, where have I been? The answer is: working on a game that was originally meant to only take a couple weeks, if you can believe that. As is obvious - that didn't happen! Since then, this fun little project has gone through multiple evolutions and rewrites to become something that's maybe not so little after all.

I want to clarify, I'm not abandoning the Hylann Defense Corps, but it will be set on the backburner until this new game - Who Are: The Greater Draconians - is complete.

Now then, let me talk for a bit about this new project and my plans for it going forward!

In this game, you play as Taylor Windfield - author of the Who Are: series of educational novels. Years before he wrote these novels, Taylor and his girlfriend, June, set out to learn more about the countless fantasy beings that roam the world. In one of their very first encounters, they run into the Greater Draconians of Comet Peak and its surrounding regions.

June and Taylor are in the images above, with June being the purple-haired witch, and Taylor the blue-haired fighter/femboy.

I've also attached a couple videos showing off the animated title screen (which I almost scrapped in rage, like, ten times) and one of the inns you'll be able to visit. I plan on packing lots of macro/micro content within places like these, alongside the main story.

Okay, there's LOADS more I'd like to talk about, but I'm going to stop here for now.

Thank you to everyone who's stuck with me throughout this quiet period. In truth, I was hoping for my first announcement about this project to be the game's finished demo, and I worked very hard to try and do so. However, it's still not quite there yet, so I'm sorry for that.

I'll keep you all posted with regular updates going forward, as in, NOT four months from now.
