Yang Hyun Suk (YG) himself said this song is a callback to that era of hip hop. It reminds me of the music played every weekend at house parties back then. Also, the graphic style of the video is taken straight from the video of "I Know" by Seo Taiji and the Boys, which YG was a member of in the early nineties. Anyway thanks again for the reaction and hope to see more Babymonster content.
