Of course everyone shows how they care in different ways, but I genuinely believe every single member are close in some sort of way and they ALL care for seungkwan SO much

They just simply adore eo, they don't have a "grp of ppl" that are closer bcoz again they respected eo's personalities so they have known how each and everyone of them shows affection.. for example, Woozi, you won't rly see him hug or be affectionate towards any members since he had said he is not good with that but he had shown it by writing songs for the members,, that is why on the recent caratland ,Seungkwan boasted that he got a long kakaotalk message from Woozi bcoz it is very rare. If you get to know them, they are actually a bunch of best friends that supports each other fully,, they support eo's personal projects wholeheartedly,, You won't see The8 and Wonwoo hang out here but they actually go on dates frequently on their off sched.. They are not close for the camera, they just act the way they all are. DK would always be one of the first person who would hug a member and hype them up. Although Booseok understand eo because they are the main vocals who went through the same struggle professionally.

2024-07-22 10:24:53 +0000 UTCthey are ALL very close to each other, dokyeom is just our sunshine and he shows his love like that! but they all gave him a hug and words of affirmation, made sure he knew that they were there. they were all so supportive during his hiatus and afterwards too, always keeping an eye on him and making sure he’s okay. and this compilation of all of them taking care of him🥺it was hard for them too bc seungkwan is their everything! like the caption said “seventeen’s pride, seungkwan” they had to spend time away from him too and missed him so much, and when he returned from his break, this is how they took care of him❤️🩹

2024-07-21 10:49:28 +0000 UTCthe members really are FAMILY. there’s no other explanation of it. to love each other so much that you can wait for them, to be there to just listen and support them, to SEE them is something so beautiful. seungkwan was having a hard time and had come back from his hiatus - this is the first time he sung after his break and that’s why it was really emotional. and you can just see the overwhelming adoration they all feel for him and each other.

I also love Boohan so much, when I wrote that part I only thought about the emotional conection and forgot for a moment that their literally a married couple (lol just kidding) fr. I also have a wierd obsession with SeungSeung (Boo and Scoups) because of all the trust and weight on both of their shoulders but that would have taken to long to explain in detail lol. Hoshi and Dino with Boo always had such a fun relationship on camera but we could see how they both ankerd him on stage after moonbins passing when Seungkwan each grabbed for their hands and wouldn't let go. DK and Boo I can describe best with "they just get each other" but I'm not sure how to describe Verkwans relationship in words except for the trust to be there for each other.

Also, Seungkwan had also just come back from a 3-4 month long hiatus due to health problems so it was just a emotional and sincere performance

2024-07-20 04:57:34 +0000 UTCi just want to add more for dino, mingyu, dk, hoshi, and jeonghan for dino and seungkwan they already each other strength since pre debut, their relationship is like jeonghan and joshua. for mingyu and seungkwan both of them are went to the same high school even the same grade, thats why seungkwan rarely call him hyung and act like bestie at the most and the reason why gyuboo is so famous after verkwan(at least in asia). for dk they like soulmates, even seungkwan said it himself on a fancall if he has to choose which member that would match with him on a show like single inferno he would choose dk over mingyu bc they hang out the most, they even call each other oppa and unnie. for hoshi and seungkwan ppl always see their bickering side when the fact is since that melona room hoshi always taking care of him and always saw seungkwan as the cute lil brother, and seungkwan always encourage him abt the tiger and entertainment stuff giving him confident. for jeonghan as we all know that they act like old married couple, they are each other comfort, jeonghan always saw seungkwan with adoration eyes, him and mingyu are the most often calling seungkwan cute, and seungkwan always taking care of jeonghan. ppl always think verkwan is the best seungkwan chemistry with other member but for me his chemistry is always the best with everyone not vernon only, even verkwan are not on my top 3 seungkwan pair.

2024-07-20 04:48:47 +0000 UTCafter moonbin from astro passed away (seungkwan’s best friend), he had to take a hiatus for obvious reasons. this trip was around the time of his return and the group has made it a point to give him extra love and support through this tough year and a half

2024-07-20 04:35:24 +0000 UTCSeungkwan always had a large load of responsibility in Seventeen as he was not only one if the 2 main vocalists but also the one going on variety show after variety show to support his members. And as time progressed it weighed really hard on his mental health and Carats started to try get him to take a break, it all came crashing down, when his best friend died. He died right before Super/FML comeback but Seungkwan pushed through, performing on stage for the music shows and the short live afterwards where he didn't say a single word, the members around him worriedly paying attention to his every move. Shortly after that pledis gave out a statement that he would take a health break as adviced by his doctors after he went to the hospital I believe. After that Carats, knowing how Seungkwan would probably feel guilty, swarmed him with warm messages to take a rest and not to worry. He send us a few heartfelt updates and pictures about his rest after a while and thanked Carats for all their understanding. Now after all of this happend, I think all of the members were already very close with Seungkwan, but they definetly made a point to explicitly show him affection as much as possible. Joshua was already his comfort person that he hung to for emotional support; Wonwoo and Seungkwan bonded more, now that they both had one of their closest taken from them; Dino, Mingyu, DK and Hoshi where always the brothers directly by his side in fun and now seemed to fuktion as ankers to keep him grounded; Jeonghan kept him sane; Woozi wrote a song about their loss of Moonbin and send it to Seungkwan who listened to the demo in tears (song name: Yawn); and Vernon and Seungkwan are still Vernon and Seungkwan, their bond is just so special. All in all, it was a really rough year and Seungkwan tries to adress is struggles as openly as he can, released a songcover with a montage of special moments of people he loves (lot's of them with Moonbin) (song name: Shape) and never forget's to mention him in his speeches (most evidently when they won the MAMA award daesang). All in all, Carats let's protect this man at all cost!
