Would be awesome to see you guys do Everything Harmony by the Lemon Twigs

2024-02-23 23:19:44 +0000 UTCI would love to see you guys react to a Prince Daddy & The Hyena album. Their newest self titled EP is a masterpiece. They’re kind of a Midwest emo style but they have a lot of cosmic and orchestral sounds and a lot of really cool pacing changes. Even if you don’t react to it on the channel you should give it a listen

2024-02-22 19:46:38 +0000 UTCYou guys should eventually do Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor! Probably one of the most complex lyrics for an album, but still very accessible. You’d enjoy what you catch and get more every time you listen back. But for a first listen, it’s a very fun record, curious to see what you’d think!

2024-02-17 03:00:21 +0000 UTCPleaseee listen to Alice In Chains! I never appreciated them enough as a kid when my dad would listen to them. I’ve revisited them now in my 30s and see them with new eyes! Layne is an incredible vocalist. His story makes me so sad. Jerry Cantrell is also such a talented guitarist/writer/singer. I’ve been hoping someday you guys might do a sit down with one of their albums and revisit it!

2024-02-16 12:56:04 +0000 UTCI was literally listening to that Nick Drake album today. because I hadn't dove too much into it. I actually like the change of pace having a more produced album. It's just different (certainly not better imo) I just started creating a playlist of my all time favorite albums and Pink Moon had to go on there. Judging by the comments it seems I'm not alone in thinking you should absolutely do that one soon.

2024-02-16 07:02:08 +0000 UTCGreatest singer/songwriter? Gregory Alan Isakov. I love absolutely everything he’s ever done. If he farted in a bag I’d probably listen, sniff and maybe eat it too. 😅

2024-02-16 05:49:00 +0000 UTCHey yall I was super active on the Discord and I think on accident I left it. Can anyone please send me a link that I can join and get back into it? The community in there is really good.

2024-02-16 00:55:41 +0000 UTCI would love to see you guys do this again, it was great. I'd probably say Nick Drake is my favorite singer/songwriter, funnily enough I got into his music because of him being mentioned on Hivemind!

2024-02-15 18:21:28 +0000 UTCI really hope we get more cozy sessions. I absolutely loved this! My favorites have to be Elliott Smith and Mac DeMarco. Also, is Connor’s cozy playlist public? I’d love to save it to my Spotify.

2024-02-15 18:19:20 +0000 UTCMine has got to be Yebba. I've followed her since I saw her first Sofar Sounds performance 7 years ago. Most people know her from Drake's Certified Lover Boy, Yebba's Heartbreak. Her singing is beautiful and strong, lots of emotion. I would love for you to check her out! She has an outstanding npr tiny desk if you just want a small taste of what she can do. But she also released her first album 2 years ago, and it was just fantastic.

2024-02-15 18:09:29 +0000 UTCJessica Pratt is a recent favorite of mine, specifically her album On Your Own Love Again. Her voice is so unique and the chord progressions she chooses are so satisfying to me (a great example would be “Greycedes”). The usual lo-fi recording of her music makes her a constant comfort listen. Her first album in 5 years comes out in May and I’m so excited <3

2024-02-15 17:33:17 +0000 UTCGotta go with Fiona Apple, she’s had so many amazing different perspectives throughout her career and the evolution in her songwriting is really amazing to listen to.

2024-02-15 17:12:12 +0000 UTCElliott Smith is always one I go back to. Beautiful and melancholic music, such a shame he passed away so early in his life.

2024-02-15 17:10:43 +0000 UTCI always go back to Logic. Most people know him by his rapping, but his story telling and his vocals are highly underrated. I’ve gone back to The Incredible True Story and Everybody recently and they are a full on musical journey. I love how you can disappear into the world he builds and just vibe to it. Super exited for Ultra 85 coming out sometime this year!
