welcome (no "back" cause this is the first book club post) ladies & gentlemen. as discussed in a few Patreon videos, we will be starting a monthly book club.

because we're a few days late this month we'll be going with a slightly easier read,

Nina Simone's Gum by Warren Ellis

this book is apparently amazing, don't believe me? read this!

Nina Simone's Gum is about how something so small can form beautiful connections between people. It is a story about the meaning we place on things, on experiences, and how they become imbued with spirituality. It is a celebration of artistic process, friendship, understanding and love.

you can get the paperback version for $15 at most book stores or online. the hardcover version is a little more expensive. if you have trouble getting your hands on a physical copy there's also an Audible version, you just miss out on the pictures. if you really want to participate but can't get your hands on a copy of the book send us a message and we'll see if there's anything we can do.

we will be discussing the book on Discord as we read it, and will have a full discussion at the end of the month in video and audio form.
