Just dropping in to offer you a little history lesson on ZICO: Born Woo Ji-ho on September 14, 1992 in Seoul, ZICO debuted as the leader of the KPOP boy group Block B in 2011 and made his first solo debut in 2014. Block B had a change of management in 2013 from Stardom Entertainment (who did them real dirty, read more here for all the tea: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Block_B) to Seven Seasons (Seven Seasons then underwent a name change in June 2016 to KQ Entertainment, home of Ateez and Xikers). On November 23, 2018, Seven Seasons announced that ZICO had not renewed his contract with the label, while the other six members of Block B had. In a statement, Seven Seasons said that it was discussing future group activities with all seven Block B members. Not long after, in January 2019, ZICO announced that he had established his own label, KOZ Entertainment (under the HYBE umbrella), which he planned to use to develop other artists as well as his own solo career. He has since debuted his first boy group, BOYNEXTDOOR.
