2022-10-24 17:52:23 +0000 UTCIn the Tranquillity Base video, Kevin asked how do they do it with the live shows; do they play newer songs? how do they make them work together? etc. Arctic Monkeys' music has gotten progressively slower throughout the years, with every album. Sure most records still had a faster track here and there, but as the music has slowed down, so have the live shows. So, a lot of the older songs are played a bit slower during live shows these days to make them work as a complete setlist with the newer music.

There were a handful of tracks that instantly spoke to me, and on second listen with you guys here, I’m realizing it’s definitely a specific vibe. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss the more rock-focused Arctic Monkey sound, but if they continue to evolve this sound I’m pretty excited for their future.
