Dad Reacts to Radiohead - Hail to the Thief

Comments

Yes, it does !! That will some of this

TTT

Haven't listened to Mac Miller but that bassline you guys were humming to at the start sounds basically identical to Cake's Short Skirt, Long Jacket.

Hey Deborah! Thank you so much :) -Kev

When you said that there was a glitch on this video I instantly thought "NOT ON THERE, THERE, PLEASEEE" and, well... Anyways, I discovered you guys on YouTube searching for Radiohead reacts and it's absolutely my favorite channel now. I always feel like I'm sitting in front of you and sharing the experience of listening to those beautiful albums. Thank you for sharing this precious content! Hugs from Brazil <3

So happy to see this one! My favourite Radiohead album 🥰

Subbed just to see this, and it was so worth it. Thanks, guys. Looking forward to Amnesiac - and The Smile if you're down. Have you listened to all the extra Radiohead tracks they release with their collector's editions? Every album has extra tracks, and some are better than the album tracks. Would love to see your reactions. Much love.

Would love to see you guys react to some of their Live from the Basement sets in some form. I personally prefer that rendition of TKOL to the studio version

Great video! I want thank Kevin for allowing to hear this album for first time again!

Love the Radiohead reacts, can't wait to see the reaction to Amnesiac to complete the set (and maybe Pablo Honey)... but, have either of you guys heard Eels albums? Mark Everett is a genius, I think you both would love the lyrics and dig the grooves, the guy doesn't miss a beat as far as production goes, you could start with 'souljacker', 'hootenanny', 'hombre lobo', 'end times', all of the above would let you into his world. Love the shows Conor and Kevin, keep it up dudes.

Mac Miller was the last / most recent artist that I deeply connected to, and I started listening to him around 2016/17. I've been binging his music, so to speak, since then. I want to find music as influential, inspiring, relatable, and as grand as his. At least that's my end goal for my OWN music. But Mac was REALLY great. I found my biggest role models in musicians, philosophers, psychologists, scientists, and other speakers and lectures. But it started with music. I feel like I have some sort of obligation to return the favor, and try to inspire the next generation, because before I found someone to relate to, I was broken. I had a crazy childhood full of homelessness and abuse, seeing drug use, all the crazy shit that's too long to get into. But I made it out with a good head on my shoulders and I feel like I have to return the favor. It gets tough on days when you're uninspired but having your channel helps more than you know!

Wow. I haven't gotten goosebumps from music in years, and I'm only 21 - but just after listening to the first track, it's like I found something that's been searching for me as well... Crazy feeling in my body. I'm a music producer and rapper from the Bay Area in California. Ever since I began this journey of teaching myself how to fill every role in a professional recording studio, from producing to mixing, to mastering, and all the other weird shit, music sometimes loses that novelty. I just wanted to thank you guys for continuing to do your thing, not only introducing your dad to new music but to a WHOLE community - especially when it feels like it's hard to find good music nowadays. I know I can always depend on you guys to bring new music to the table and you definitely hold a big role in my life of entertainment, inspiration, and the feeling of just kicking it with the boys. You guys bring so much value to my life in the most nuanced ways possible. And I love the relationship you have with each other. Coming from someone who didn't grow up with a dad, its invaluable to me to see such a positive father/son dynamic, Have a great week bros

I know a video reaction wouldn't do very well but Lost In the Dream by The War on Drugs is an album that you would both love so much. It's psychedelic rock and its such a perfectly constructed album

Drew Bimson
