When Gorillaz play live all bets are off, they could bring out any of their collaborators and play any of their songs, just depends who they can pin down for that day, and when they aren't available they either have them on a screen doing their bit in a pre filmed thing or have someone else take over, like Snoop Dogg or Little Simz doing a couple new verses on Clint Eastwood when Del Tha Funky Homosapien isn't there. They are a fantastic Live Band :)

2022-09-05 15:22:38 +0000 UTCLoved this. Please keep going in order from Plastic Beach. I think Humanz and The Now Now have a lot to love, and the extended Song Machine album is amazing.
2022-09-05 03:46:18 +0000 UTCNew here and this is totally worth every penny of those 3 Canadian dollars I paid. This video made me relisten to Plastic Beach on my own and fully understand the aesthetic choices on this album. The drums and synths are noticeably more hollow, empty and frankly plasticky, while they could've been way richer and natural feeling - It portrays a very unique feeling and delivers the message of how we praise and abuse plastic to our benefit, making it a source of escapism, as these fairly boxy sounds are used for dreamy and many catchy tunes. But at the end of the day all plastic finds itself in the trash. Romanticinsg dryness and embracing things that are merely timely. Absolutely brilliant, creative and striking way to sneakily deliver the message.

2022-09-04 19:20:55 +0000 UTCMan, you're lucky. I wish I got to see Gorillaz from "Plastic beach" or "Demon days" era live. Apart from that, welcome to the community!

2022-09-04 19:16:59 +0000 UTCJust to say, I went to the plastic beach tour here in the UK and they did do white flag with the full orchestra. A moment I will never ever forget. Absolutely world changing for me at 15. Bashy and Kano both came out too! They opened with the orchestral intro and then had snoop dogg on the screens, not live, but he was dressed in a old English naval captain on a huge boat heading up to the island. Having snoop dogg as a voiceover worked because the orchestra was live! Also I have just joined the patreon today and Iβm so so happy to have joined! Thanks for everything guys
