2024-03-15 21:39:08 +0000 UTCit was also very cool of them to have minghao doing the super dance break as he just had his collarbone injury during the time of the release and so the choreo was adapted to cater to what he could do, so he wasn’t in a lot of the group parts either, now he’s in all of the group parts but doing the dance break was such a nice touch bc he’s fully recovered here and could really do what he does best!

2024-03-15 21:35:09 +0000 UTCthis performance was actually GROUNDBREAKING! and the last performance of the night too, they almost always close the show and have everyone leaving on a high, the mood makers and performance kings of kpop🥺it was really cool as well bc in super, one of the lines at the end is “this is the manhwa’s ending song” manhwa - comic books/graphic novels and they changed it to “this is mama’s ending song” and it was UNREAL!! Also so special that right after this, they won the biggest award of the night and of their career too, the album of the year🥹and they all went up, emotional and happy, all 13 to get it, despite cheol still being injured, it’s a huge part of their journey, even the announcer said “it’s finally them” before she said their name bc the whole industry knows they deserved this🤍

In Super, the ending lyrics goes " This is the Manhwa's ending song" but for this particular performance they sang " this is MAMA's ending song". This is also why Woozi goes "Ping!" before he does his last verse, it is supposed to imitate the sound effects from a manhwa or anime when the protagonist is defeating the villain. The song is called Super as in 'superhero' or 'superpowered'. It's actually insane how much thought goes into every aspect from songwriting to performing. Woozi is a genius for sure.
