2022-05-08 20:50:33 +0000 UTCI found and started following Logic back when he had first dropped Undeniable on Youtube. When this album came out there was absolutely nothing like it to me. It was raw, it didn't talk about anything basic. He told his story and you could hear the hunger in his voice where he's telling these stories about his childhood. Then you hear him rap about how much he wanted to make it out, take care of his family, and start a family of his own that would never have to grow up like that. I've never respected someone so much for taking such negative experiences and not sitting around complaining about the world dealing him a bad hand. He used that negativity and projected it through music in a way that spread so much positivity to people also going through tough times. I have never, and will never respect someone more than Logic for that. And this album embodies that in every way. I don't love his music so much nowadays, but I always give it a listen and always refer to him as my favorite artist. Most people who only know him for his music later in his career never understand why. ANYONE who has truly given this album a listen will hardly ever even question me on it.

I very much enjoyed taking some time to listen to an old project I haven’t heard in a while. Logic is a big favorite of mine and listening to this album with you guys was so enjoyable, and I saw it in whole new ways. Deepening my love for it. I’d love to spend 2 more hours with you two listening to No Pressure, the sequel of this project. Love you guys.

2022-05-02 16:22:34 +0000 UTCBritish tea drinker here lol, My method is place Tea bag of choice (mine is PG Tips) in mug while kettle boils, then pour and let brew for however long you feel (longer for stronger ofc), i also like to pin the teabag to the bottom of the mug using the teaspoon whilst brewing, i dont know why i just do haha. Then take teabag put, add milk as desired whilst stiring, and then add sugar if desired and stir well, enjoy! :) ( not saying this is the correct method as everyone has their own but if you add the milk to your cup first you should be crucified, thankyou for you’re time lol)

I really wish logic had a more consistent catalogue, but I still love him a lot. I think No Pressure would be the best album to play after this one, and then maybe dive deeper into his discography with the understanding that there will be some songs that are just OK.

2022-04-30 22:25:40 +0000 UTChello from britain, ill give you a step by step on tea, 1)fill kettle and boil kettle, i rarely use a teapot because it takes too much time, i only use for a special occasion, step 2)put teabag(yorkshire tea, proper tea, i notoriously hate flavoured tea and stuff like that) also put sugar if you use it step 3)pour boiling water over tea bag and sugar and begin to mess with tea bag with your spoon, stir it around etc step 4)squeeze the tea bag agaist the side a few times to get all the flavour out step 5)take out tea bag and throw in the bin, pour your milk in use as much as you want depending on how weak out strong you want it, personally i pour the milk in a quicker way so i can hear the bottle "glug" and that's how much i like step 6)is the most important step, stir your tea, don't just stir a little, stir fast and aggressively for a while so all the sugar is dissolved and all the flavours mix. and there is then guide to a proper brew imo.

TITS was decent, but Under Pressure is the only one I go back to anymore. Definitely excited for Kevin to hear some old hip hop, got a feeling he’ll love Outkast, Em, etc.

It feels kinda pretentious when outright saying it but the album delves heavily into topics like nihilism, loneliness, life in the internet age, etc. I loved the album a lot before on a musical level but after the initial wave of the pandemic hit I truly felt like it clicked philosophicaly and ideology wise. Hope if a reaction comes out for it you guys enjoy it as much as I do. Much love to both of you!

2022-04-30 19:28:26 +0000 UTCfor the first point, a song having the same bpm as another is not stealing. for the second point, the "you you you" adlib is probably just logic being inspired, def not plagiarism. for the third point, what in the world? kendrick didn't invent skits. for the fourth point, these songs have a similar beat, but then again, the song wasn't produced by logic, it was produced by 6ix. how could logic be at fault for this vague similarity? for the fifth point, i don't even see the similarity. a long song with a laid back beat? kendrick didn't invent that. for the sixth point, what is the point here? they both worked with don cheadle? lol. pretty bad and biased video. i've never even listened to a logic album, and i can see the inspirations, but it isn't stealing. i even love kendrick albums, so i have no real reason to side with logic here. but it's just common sense lol
