It really is a shame... and while I do get that they are busy, it's really frustrating to see that they apparently don't read their comments either and think that no one has mentioned WayV before or recommend any songs when that isn't true at all. That and asking their audience questions, but not reading the answers and explanations that they get, or at least that's what it seems like to me.

To answer your question about how Nct Japan is going to be formed. They already made a group through the survival show called Nct Lastart. The Japanese Team is called Nct Wish and they are having their debut in this coming week. They are a six member group and are all new members.

Nobody is really mentioning Taeyong, so I’ll do it. Taeyong is the official leader of NCT. He’s incredibly talented and I hope that when you start getting into the members you start with Taeyong since he is the leader. His solo album is dropping 2/27 as well. My favorite piece from him is “Ghost” but because SM didn’t have any involvement in creating it or promoting it it never got an official release, however, there is a performance video for it. Taeyong released official solos and built a team outside of SM to help him promote and produce. He also produced songs.

The thing is, many people HAVE already recommended WayV and asked for various reactions, but they always get outvoted and drowned out unfortunately. It certainly doesn't help that a lot of people, including NCTzens, refuse to give WayV a chance simply because they're Chinese and make music in Mandarin Chinese and their company SM doesn't care about them either and is well known for mistreating their Chinese idols, as you've already heard in the EXO guide and that is not a conspiracy theory or a baseless accusation either. It's especially frustrating and unfair because WayV is incredibly talented and has amazing music. They are by far my favourite NCT unit and one of my favourite groups in general.

There are many kpop groups who make and promote singles in other languages, primarily English, Mandarin and Japanese and those singles are generally well recieved despite not being sung in Korean. Knetizen have blatantly not cheered for the Chinese members of NCT, including Chenle and Renjun who are members of NCT Dream who sing in Korean and promote in South Korea. As well as how the company mistreat it's foreign idols. We've seen it with EXO as well. Not to say that language doesn't play a small part in this situation but I think the majority of it just boils down to blatant xenophobia.

I honestly think WayV has some of the best songs in kpop and Cpop but again because of the political issues between Korea and China, they aren't promoted as much and have fewer comebacks. It is very sad to see this happening, even in concerts, the Chinese members of NCT get noticeably less cheers from the crowd when performing in Korea. Us international fans love them all the same though. This may be why no WayV has won any polls yet. They are definitely underrated, underappreciated but it's not for a lack of talent. They're are a lot of 'fans' of NCT who dont support WayV but in my opinion, they are on par with the rest of the subunits in terms of talent. It would be good for you guys to make a WayV only poll, to get to know their music a bit.

The Lucas situation has neither been confirmed or denied so it’s just up in the air. SM hasn’t done much to help but is still part of the company hence his comeback. He still great friends with the members. There really isn’t any side to take when there hasn’t been any further actions taken or confirmations. He was a member of NCT/ Wayv and in a lot of there popular songs so he’s going to be brought up regardless.

Also in his docu, although his apologies were very vague he wasn't apologizing because of fabricated accusations; he seemed sorry to his members and company for exposing the ssg who was stalking them and caused her to retaliate and make up that scandal, which led to suffering from all parties. If you looked into it properly yourself, you'd find that the ssgs used lots of photos from his bbl account (a paid subscription for his fans), and photoshopped "receipts", and the timelines they spoke of did not match up). Different ssgs who were involved admitted to the scandal being meant to get back at lucas, so pls read up or just stop spreading falseness.

*Correction to Byeol's comment about SA 🥴🤡 With regards to Lucas, he was on hiatus due to the accustions of him gaslighting/cheating claimed by his "ex-girlfriends", there was no SA mentioned 💀 All of his "victims" came on Twitter one by one with their evidences claiming that he gaslighted them and used them for their money, to buy him things, etc. Apparently all the evidences were debunked and turned out to be by saesangs. However SM did not deny or confirm the allegations. Lucas issued an apology letter on his IG acc saying he is sorry to his fans and members. (Usually SM makes their artists apologize when they are involved in a scandal regardless if they're guilty or not) so that made everyone really confused meanwhile all his activities were cancelled SM did not handled the issue well and only stayed silent. And never made clearance about the issue. It also did not help about the fact that lucas is a CHINESE member of nct. However, antis started accusing him of SA during his hiatus but there's no proof unlike the gaslightinh/cheating scandal. It was only statements from twitter accounts with no solid evidence. NCT is my favorite group! Their b-sides are some of the best and I keep recommending WayV - Turn Back Time in the polls but sadly it nevers wins. All their songs go hard and really stick out to me especially Moonwalk and Takeoff. Wish they weren't so underrated. They need more love too. I also recommend Love Talk - English Version which was in the video. And WayV has songs in Korean, Chinese, and sometimes, English. I love how cohesive this guide is and how easy it is to follow. It's honestly one of the best guides in my opinion. Thank you all! I thoroughly enjoyed this reaction. This guide helped clarify some things for me as well. And I've been a fan for a while.
