Welcome to the first-ever, Holiday Gift Guide. Thanks to all of you for sending in your recs and ideas. Not all gift guides are created equal. These are things that I’ve used a ton this year and have also purchased as gifts for others. This isn’t about the DEALS as much as it's about the right stuff. Tech
With all the DAC talk from the other day, I’ve found myself using this to listen to high-res audio and have been ASTONISHED at the quality. This isn’t the cheapest but it’s by far one of the better ones. (FYI you need to use Apple Music or Tidal etc.)

Less than $25 and a watch I wear nearly ever week. Mine is 16 years old and still rules.
These watch straps are incredible quality and are also marked down (a rare occurrence) until 11/29. I love the light grey nubuck. Also don't sleep on their watch cases.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve found myself more interested in the simplest things done incredibly well. If you want to flex beyond belief with a Chris Reeve knife. This is the vibe.

I use this every day and can’t imagine not having it. You should see this clown make lemonade in less than 10 mins.
You can now gift subscriptions to folks and I find this is the streaming service I use the most when I’m really trying to watch something. A no “second screen” experience. They also have the full Jacque Tati collection. Watch Playtime and lose your mind…Or just tell someone else too.
Clothes
Quite possibly my favorite denim to wear and a perfect ‘straight’ fit with a higher rise. The denim is slubby, chunky and ages great.
A project long in the making, they finally nailed it with the sizing and wash. Shrinkage is now minimal! Hell yes.
I purchased and have received an obscene amount of knitwear over the years and the ‘Ben’ crewneck from Berg & Berg is by far the best sweater I’ve ever owned. They have a merino/cashmere blend that make them soft but they’re not too precious. The light gray goes with practically everything.
