They are in the same generation as BTS, they just debuted later so they are considered juniors to BTS and every group before their debut in 2015. I also want to add to the explanation of Super that the person before me made. The korean title of Super translates to Sonogong which is the korean name for the chinese character Monkey King (Son Wukong) in a popular legend. The name is also translate in Japanese to Son Goku who is the main character of the anime Dragon Ball. Son goku takes after the Chinese legend and a lot of lyrics and dance moves refer to both the legend and the anime. Woozi (shortest member) is the one who wrote the lyrics (if I'm not mistaken) and loves anime so he finally was able to make a song about it, which he said he'd been wanting to do. Not only bcoz of their strong vocals but also bcoz they are also known as great dancers.
