Dungeons and Drive-Thrus Part 9

“Hey hon, remember it’s donkeys and dungeons tonight?”

Vic’s call jolted Jenny awake, the donkey snorting and blinking with her sudden leap into consciousness. Groggy half memories of dreams that had something to do with hotdogs dripped away like oil and, smacking her lips, Jenny yawned. The obese donkey was laying on her back in bed, the pressure of her gut weighing down on her was a constant reminder of just how big she had grown. What was yet to come. The fuzzy brown dome towered above her, anyone standing beside the bed would have trouble seeing over it, she herself had no chance.

Stretching the kinks in her neck and ignoring how her cheeks squished and folded against the ring of blubber that surrounded her head, the donkey groped blindly for the phone she kept on her bedside table. She could hear it, Jenny liked to leave the phone playing the sound of rain while she went to sleep, and her fat fingers quickly clasped around its plastic case.

5:55pm

Shit! Less than five minutes until tabletop! She must have slept through her alarm. In the other room she could hear Vic setting down plates, another boon of living together it seemed was that the cow-kitsune hybrid delighted in making massive stomach filling meals. She gathered herself and called back, “Yeah! Yup, I’m... I’m on my way!”

On her way - experience told her that it would take five minutes at least for her to get out of bed. That and waddling to the dining room would be her biggest issues. Her notebook, laptop and DM screen were all sitting on a table nearby, as were most of her belongings - she rarely got up from her bed if she didn’t have to and she had long outgrown any desk chair that wasn’t custom built. Sizing up the task, Jenny sighed. There was nothing to it! Just had to get up.

The feeling of oppressive weight bearing down on her did not let up as the donkey started wiggling her legs. Massive, conical appendages, they were all but buried under her gut which hung down past her knees, pushing her legs at a wide angle lest they feel too crushed for her to be able to sleep. Getting up on the left side of the bed, she moved her left leg outward. It was slow going, even pushed to either side of the main mass of her burbling, blubbery stomach, the leg was still under a considerable amount of tummy fat, not to mention its own. Her hooves wiggled as she groaned and pushed and finally managed to swing her leg out from under her own mass and over the side of the bed.

That was one.

With one leg over, now Jenny had to push her entire body, to start to angle it such that the other leg would be able to swing over the left edge of the bed. This meant levering herself upwards with her arms, pushing against her massive weight, sweating and groaning as she slowly angled her body until finally her right leg was off the side of the bed. Now was the hardest part. With both legs touching the floor the only thing left to do was slowly push herself up. It started with her elbows which dug into the mattress to lever herself up so that her back was at an angle. Sweat dripping down her forehead, that angle meant that her stomach began to push forward, its overbearing weight no longer pressing down on her diaphragm, allowing her to gasp for much needed oxygen. One arm at a time, Jenny pressed down into the mattress and slowly pushed herself into a sitting position. The hardest part was done with. Now her stomach began to inch slowly towards the ground, a mass taken by gravity, it helped that her arms no longer bore the entire weight of it. Finally she found herself sitting on the edge of the bed, stomach pushing her legs to either side and hanging scant inches from the ground, panting and sweating, too exhausted to wipe the droplets beading on her forehead.

Rising into a standing position was a juggling act of maintaining balance. The donkey extended her large, blubber coated arms straight out ahead of her and leaned forward. Inch by inch the weight of her was lifted from the bed and pushed onto bracing legs. For a moment there was cool relief as her gut made contact with the polished floorboard beneath her but that moment was short lived. Now her legs had to do the heavy lifting, and straightening them pushed a groan from her muzzle. It took a half minute for her massive ass cheeks to finally leave the bed behind her and even then it was a matter of inches, but at last she was standing. Panting, exhausted, arms resting on the shelf of her stomach, but standing.

Over the pounding of her heart, Jenny could hear other voices in the dining room. Her party was already there! She bit back her instinct to rush, moving too fast had resulted in falls before. So, shifting her bulk to either side in wide, waddling steps, Jenny made her way to the door, scooping up her DM equipment on the way and tucking it under a sweaty arm. Through the doorway she could see her friends talking and laughing at the dining room table, already enough food had been laid out to feed a family for days. They didn’t notice her as she approached the door and one waddling step after another she... squeaked to a halt.

Stuck.

It wasn’t like before. Every other time she had moved through the doorway her wide love handles had pushed firmly through the opening. This time they pushed against the opening and her momentum came to a complete halt.

“H-haw?”

The sound was involuntary and Jenny blushed as soon as it left her mouth, but it encapsulated her feelings all the same. Confused, she looked to either side where her stomach compressed against the sides of the doorframe, smooshing around the thin wooden band and against the wall to either side.

The room beyond, where everyone had gathered, had fallen into silence. Everyone was staring at Jenny, which only contributed to the red blush painted across her massive cheeks. Everyone had grown since the tabletop games had begun, but nobody nearly so much as the donkey stuck before them. While the exact nature of their reactions was something Jenny would miss with her frantic puffing and tugging at her stomach, each of them wore their own expression. Loretta was blushing a little, the bird’s eyes fixed firmly on the donkey who had grown so large. Kate seemed to be awestruck, a murmured “no way..” escaping the mouse’s open mouth. Bel’s own surprise quickly turned to a grin, the large gecko must have liked what she saw.

Vic was the first to recover, her gaze one of obvious admiration - she was certainly proud of her handiwork. “Don’t worry darling, here, let me help you.” The cowsune’s calming words reached Jenny moments before Vic did. Taking both of Jenny’s hands, Vic began to help tug Jenny outwards and with that bump in momentum, their combined weights pulling in one direction began to loosen the donkey enough that after a few pulls she popped out. She gasped, barely able to recover her balance as she staggered a few steps across the floor.

Still every bit as sweaty and out of breath, Jenny mumbled a thank you to Vic from behind her blush and started on the journey towards the table.  As she approached the size of the feast dawned on her, she had had trouble getting out of her room. After tonight, there was no way she was going to be able to get back in it.
