A quick note on the iOS app and Apple Fees
Added 2024-08-13 15:22:16 +0000 UTCHeya, folks. I just wanted to give a heads-up for those who might not have heard, and make sure things are clear for those who might be a bit confused about some upcoming changes being forced by Patreon and Apple.
I posted part of Patreon's statement to creators above, but just to be extra clear, the change coming in November 2024 will NOT affect current patrons. You will be paying the same you've always paid. Only NEW patrons who sign up through the iOS app will have to deal with the extra 30% fee.
So, if you're just checking out my page for the first time and plan to sign up during or after November, or if you cancel your current membership and want to rejoin again after November, please do not sign up through the iOS app if you want to avoid paying the extra fee. You can sign up through any web browser or Android device instead.
