January Recap! New pricing, poll results and looking ahead

I know there are still a few days left in the month, but I wanted to get this out sooner as there will be a lot of changes to my Patreon going forward!

First though, thank you guys for sticking with me with this rocky start to the year. I wasn't able to get to everything I wanted to do this month, art wise, and it's caused me to rethink a few things for next month. But I'd also like to look a bit further to the future as well!

So, here's what we've got to look forward to in February.

New Pricing

As you might've noticed, I've lowered the prices of each tier by 2$USD. With my desire to experiment a bit more with my art, try new things, and push my skills further, I've realized that I'm unable to consistently produce enough art every month to make the old prices worthwhile. I think this new pricing structure will be a bit more fair and appealing going forward. At least until I'm able to dedicate more time to this Patreon and thus produce a lot more art for all of you. Which brings me to the next part...

Our First Goal

I decided to add the first goal to show what you guys are ultimately helping me work towards: becoming a fully independent artist. This goal will be the first step towards that, allowing me to scale back my hours at the office so I can spend more time on making art for you guys, along with a few extras. I still haven't decided on what those extras will be yet, but I've got time to think about it!

Poll Results and Priorities

While thinking about pricing, I've also come to a second realization: In January, I prioritized SFW poll results over 18+ results for the art I draw, assuming I'd be able to get to everything well before the month is out. But that was very nearly not the case, and I realized making those of you who subscribe to the highest tier potentially wait out the entire month for art you voted for isn't fair. 

So going forward, I'll be starting with the results from the 18+ poll, and working my way to the SFW poll results afterwards. I'll also be limiting myself to just one drawing per poll, to insure I get to everything in time. If there's a tie, I'll do another week-long poll to break it (and if it's still tied after that, I'll flip a coin or something :P). As a consequence, polls will only be running for 3 weeks, so there's room in the month for that extra tie-breaking week. Finally, I'll also be providing the Full HD and Line Art versions as soon as the Early Access period for a piece ends, rather than waiting a few days, to make sure they're all available by the end of the month.

I also intend to show a lot more WIP updates. For the first few months, I was trying to get a feel for the most interesting ways to tease upcoming work, and ultimately I decided you guys deserve to see every step of the process. Most of these updates will also be exclusive to Patreon, while only one or two will be teased on other platforms.

Looking to February

With all that in mind, and looking at the January poll results, I'll be kicking off February with an 18+ drawing of a Witcherlass of my own design! Afterwards I'll be doing a drawing of Venat/Hydaelyn from FFXIV. I'll probably also draw a fully clothed version of the Witcherlass afterwards, given that part of the fun of designing a character is the outfit. Can't really do that if she's naked!
