Pokemon: Jordinio Version - Chapter 27.2

Honestly, it was surprising how quickly things could progress when you just got stuck right in there and battered in.

This morning, I was in Vermillion City, sharing a bed with Hilda, right now, it's only just after seven in the evening, and I'm on Cinnabar Island, while Hilda is already in Unova.

The marvels of flight, huh?

I sat on my bed in the pokemon centre, dropping the towel I had around my shoulders and grinned, "So that was Rosa, huh?" I mused aloud.

She was…fun.

And very attractive. I can definitely see the resemblance between her and Hilda. They had similar eye colours and facial structures, alongside the same coloured hair. Rosa was a bit taller than Hilda though I noticed…and absolutely stacked up front. I mean, Hilda is stacked as well, but wow, Rosa has her beat in the chest size department.

And she had some real nice hips. I wonder how the backside stacks up?

Granted, I'd say Hilda's facial features are a bit more refined, more classical princess vibe to Rosa's girl next door type.

Both were good though.

"I wonder how they'll react when they send out Dragonite?" he mused. That thing, was an utter beast. While it was under his ownership, he could see the attacks it knew.

Dragon Claw, Dragon Rush, Dragon Breath, Dragon Rage, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Extreme Speed, Wrap, Slam, Hurricane, Dragon Dance, Surf, Hydro Pump.

Its move pool was utterly fucking absurd, so crazy it made me actually hesitate to send it to Hilda and consider sending her the angry runt.

It was no wonder the one I kept apparently had an inferiority complex a mile wide if that was the standard for Dragonite around that island. Or at least it seemed so during its time with that clown Iris.

He really was a runt compared to that one. Hell, I'm just guessing, but I think even Pidgeot would have trouble taking that Dragonite down one on one.

And considering Pidgeot without his wings after taking an explosion to the face right after evolving kicked the crap out of Surge's Electivire…

That Dragonite was most likely a total monster.

Honestly though, tempting as it was to keep it myself, I sent it to Hilda for two reasons. One, I can trust that Dragonite to follow her commands and have the strength to protect her if something really does come up, and two-

Well, I think it'll be way more fun to raise the runt.

And strong as that other Dragonite is, he's a bit too chill. The runt, once I win him over, has the drive to throw himself into the grind alongside me!

He has something to prove to the world and I can work with that.

"Speaking of, Dragonite and Gyarados should be ready soon." I mused, leaning back on the bed and staring up at the ceiling.

I'd left them with Nurse Joy after arriving on the island. And to my surprise, the place was actually quiet, all the hotels only moderately filled.

But then, going by my estimates, it would have been the height of summer when Ash and co arrived on Cinnabar Island originally, and considering the massive beach and such…

Yeah, it was no wonder things got jam packed then.

First though, there's still something else I want to take care of tonight. Thankfully, it was still pretty light outside and my destination isn't far away.

Bouncing up from the bed, I made my way over to my backpack sitting on on the computer desk provided with my room for the night and began grabbing out some fresh, dry clothing.

A huge mess of pokeballs jostled around inside, a hundred of them in total. There was a sale at the poke mart on the island when I arrived, and I got a good deal for buying in bulk, so I got them all for ten thousand pokedollars in total.

Brought me below two point eight million which was annoying, but eh, I'm not that OCD that I would sperg over it.

…To much.

I'm not sure how many I'll need to be honest, so I went with a hundred to be safe.

Once I was ready, I left my room, locking the door behind me and made my way outside.

                                                                  ___________________

Not long later, I was once again flying through the sky on Fearow's back, heading through the ocean directly west of Cinnabar Island.

"You doing okay bud?" I asked, touching a hand to his neck, "You've battled quite a bit today and carried me a lot as well." sure he got to rest for a few hours after arriving and had some good filling food, but even with how intense out training is, he's beyond to be exhausted.

"Fera!" Fearow gave a derisive squawk and halted mid-air, jostling me a bit. I had to resist the urge to latch onto his neck, even though I know I'm very tightly secured in the saddle I'm sitting in.

He spread his wings out widely and proudly and beat them hard in the air, gales of wind visible warping the sky in front of me from the sheer power behind the wing beats.

I chuckled, "Alright, alright, my bad." I apologised.

He's affronted I'd even think him incapable of it just because of what he did earlier apparently.

You know, it's weird how good I'm getting at understanding my pokemon.

Nodding, pleased, Fearow spread his wings and began scything through the air once more towards our destination.

I'd long since mapped it out, and figured out the coordinates for where it was just like Dragonite Island in preparation for this day.

All said and done, it actually didn't take very long at all to reach our destination, especially not with how fast Fearow can fly.

I mean, Ash and co had no problem getting there quick after all in a simple row boat.

It was enough to show the place wasn't that far off from Cinnabar. I remembered that they met that Wartortle at the beginning on the beach as well, and from there got a general direction.

From there, I just looked over the maps to find the closest island from that direction that was big enough so sustain a decently large population of pokemon.

Simple and easy.

And it only took twenty minutes to get there. Granted, more than half of that was more actually finding the island itself and not travel time, but still, it was good time.

"Yes!" I hissed, a feeling of victory rushing through my veins as I looked down upon the island from directly above.

The sun was beginning to set and light was fading into dusk, but even so, the island wasn't all that big, and I had a clear view of multiple Squirtle and Wartortle spread all around the island.

And the biggest prize of all that I saw, the main guy I'm here for, the Blastoise was perched on a rough looking nest atop some large rocks directly in the centre of the island.

"Take us down." I ordered Fearow, my hand going to my belt and taking up three of them between my fingers.

"Row." Fearow nodded and a moment later we descended, landing smack dab right in the middle of the densest grouping of Squirtle and Wartortle going about their day.

There had to be at least twenty of them.

They noticed us quickly, all stopping to stare at me in curiosity.

"Come out Victreebel, Bellossom, Milotic!" I called out, tossing the pokeballs up into the air and bringing out the pocket monsters within, "Sleep Powder, Hypnosis!"

In a trio bright bursts of light that illuminated the island, my three pokemon formed into existence.

And jumped straight into action.

"Bella!" with a wide smile, cute little Bellossom hopped and spun in the air, the red flowers on her adorable head rotating and unleashing a mist of sparkling blue powder that swept over multiple Squirtle and Wartortle, the water types succumbing quickly and slumping over asleep before they even realised what was going on.

While Bellossom took the right, at the same Victreebel gave shrieking howl and bent over facing the left, exhaling and expunging a similar, yet bigger cloud of Sleep Powder spores through the air.

The Squirtle and Wartortle on that side fell asleep just the same.

That was enough to spurn the rest into action. Panic filled the assembled the remaining turtle pokemon and they turned tail and tried to flee deeper into the island.

They didn't get far, cries of dismay erupting from the lead Wartortle's throat as red ringed waves of akin to sonar waves swept over them as Milotic used her Hypnosis attack.

And they fell asleep just the same.

"Man, sleep status is bullshit broken man." I laughed, pulling my backpack from my shoulders and unzipping it.

"Wartortle!" I heard a cry of anger from behind me that made me pause and I looked over my shoulder just in time to see one final Wartortle still awake, shooting through the air towards me, head first, covered in blazing white aura of power.

Skull Bash, huh?

Nice.

It wouldn't amount to much though.

I didn't even need to issue any orders. Fearow swivelled around, one wing erupting with an ominous dark power and lashed out at the Wartortle just as it reached us.

The ground shook as the water type was slammed into it, hard.

"…War…" it groaned, and feebly tried to push itself up.

It never got the chance.

Fearow slammed another Throat Chop into its back, and the middle stage water pokemon fell limp.

Hmm, that one had some spunk to it.

I'll keep that in mind, just in case the Blastoise is a dud.

I slipped free from the saddle on Fearow's back and reached into my backpack, grabbing up pokeballs and one by one, starting with the Wartortle defeated by Fearow just now, began catching the mass of sleeping Squirtle and Wartortle.

"Good job guys," I praised them all, bringing their attention to me, "We're not done yet though." I quickly added before all three of them swamped me to cuddle.

We can cuddle after I've captured them all.

"Let's find the rest." I said, jerking my chin into the deeper island.

"Bella bella!" Bellossom nodded happily and bounced over to land on my shoulder, while the other three much larger pokemon, too large now to hang over me like they all had when they were smaller, trotted, bounce and slithered behind me, following my lead.

Instead of heading straight into the centre of the island where the Blastoise was, I decided to first circle the outer area of the island and work my way inwards.

It didn't take that long, the place really was only like five hundred feet in diameter. Honestly, the only reason the Blastoise probably didn't notice as we swept around and inwards, picking off and capturing any stray Squirtle and Wartortle we came across, was because of the dense foliage at the centre of the island.

By time we were done and I caught up them all from my estimates, about twenty minutes had passed.

And I've caught a total of twenty five Squirtle and eighteen Wartortle. Quite the hall if I do say so myself. According to Misty, Squirtle went for, at the cheapest, twenty thousand.

So these Squirtle were worth at least five hundred grand in total, probably more though to be honest, because the orange haired girl had expressed during our time together, that she'd only heard of one going for that much once, and in general it was usually closer to between fifty thousand and eighty thousand they went for when being sold.

Not that I plan on selling them to be honest.

It might be a dickish thing, but having so many Squirtle and Wartortle under my ownership? It's a massive flex.

And I do so love flexing.

Not even a Hyper Beam to the face could wipe the massive shit eating grin from my face right now.

With all the lower evolutions taken care of, it was time to go for the main prize. So, with my four pokemon in tow, I headed straight for the centre of the island, pushing through the foliage to reach my destination.

Hmm, I should get some more camping gear.

And a machete.

No.

Two machetes, for dual wielding action.

Foliage will rue they day it dared hamper the path of the great Jord.

Blastoise came into sight a moment later, and I whistled. He's a big boy for sure. The great big blue skinned turtle wasn't quite asleep, but idly relaxing it.

My impressed whistle was enough to jolt it fully awake, its eyes fluttered wide open with a couple of blinks and then locked on to me, before narrowing.

A second later, it rose straight up to its feet, and like I said, he's a big boy. Easily over seven feet tall and wider than I was tall as well. A metallic thunking noise resounding from its shell, and from the holes at its shoulders, twin shining cannons longer than my arms and thicker than both of my legs together shifted into view.

"Blast!?" Blastoise thundered, cannons cocking and aiming at me.

Milotic's mouth pulled up into a snarl and Victreebel shrieked angrily at the fully evolved water pokemon.

In response, Blastoise growled, and a second later, twin massive jets of water erupted from its cannons shooting directly for me!

They never reached though.

A shimmering spherical green barrier swirled into existence around us, the twin jets of water slamming into it with thunderous force and grinding into the barrier, but failing to penetrate all the same.

"Good job Fearow!" I praised, flashing the big bird a thumbs up, he was getting really fast in deploying that now.

Fearow grinned back at me with his massive beak, and let the barrier drop. As soon as he did, I pointed at the Blastoise, "Victreebel, you're up!" I decided quickly.

He and Bellossom are more support, so they don't battle much. This will be good for him.

Victreebel bounced in place, before leaping forward towards Blastoise with a joyful shriek.

So cute with his venus-fly trap like mouth and ear drum piercing shrieks.

"Razor Leaf!" I commanded.

Whipping his leafy arms while mid-air, Victreebel unleashed a rapid fire bevvy of large razor sharp leaf projectiles.

They tore through the air rapidly, and Blastoise's eyes widened. The huge turtle quickly retreated into its shell, the huge carapace gleaming slightly.

A sound like dozens of swords slashing against a steel wall ran out, with a-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick.

The shell stood strong against the barrage of attacks.

Briefly.

Bit by bit the huge shell was forced back and back, before being carried back through the air itself and slammed into a tree from the sheer force of the attacks slicing into the shell.

The tree snapped at the middle and fell backwards, while Blastoise slumped out of its shell with a groan, shaking its huge head and pushing itself up.

Heh, Victreebel and Bellossom may not be main fighters like most of my pokemon, but, that isn't because they're weak. No, they train just like all the rest of my pokemon. It's preference, not lack of strength.

They just love cuddling and playing over blood pumping battle.

"Blast!" Blastoise roared as it regained its bearings and lumbered forward before throwing itself into a lunge, a familiar roaring white aura of power, much larger than the one that surrounded the Wartortle from earlier exploding into existence around its body.

Rocketing through the air with Skull Bash, Blastoise aimed to mow Victreebel down and push on straight through to me and the rest of my pokemon, not backing down at all.

Good.

I liked that.

This turtle had some big balls to it.

"Dodge it, then Vine Whip!" I countered.

Victreebel at my order, bounced in place and then shot into the air, shooting straight above Blastoise and letting the huge water type pass right through Victreebel's previous position.

It didn't stop and continued on with its momentum, eyes meeting mine.

Before it could reach though, multiple vines erupted from Victreebel's neck and struck down like blinding fast serpents.

They as one slammed down into Blastoise's back, missing the shell entirely though and instead expertly and accurately smashing into the back of the huge water types head and slammed it into the ground, cutting off its Skull Bash enhanced momentum.

While it lay there stunned, the vines continued on, slipping around it, one wrapping around Blastoise's neck, two around its legs, two around its arms and one around its mid-section and then Victreebel landed and shrieked, then heaved Blastoise right up into the air despite its huge size and bulk.

"Blaaaaa!?" Blastoise's cried out in shock, eyes flying wide as it rose high up into the air.

To its credit, it was only surprised for a few moments before writhing and struggling with all its strength to break free.

Sadly for it, Victreebel's vines aren't quite so easy to break free from. I'd watched him crush a boulder with just one of them.

"Blaastoise!" with its struggles seeming futile, Blastoise roared once again and my eyebrows rose as its body was consumed by a massive watery aura that rocketed it higher into the air at breakneck speeds.

Aqua Jet?

Well, a pretty good attempt, but mid-air like that, with Victrebeel already rooted, means my pokemon has the most leverage here.

And Blastoise wasn't the physically stronger of the two despite its size.

Victreebel shrieked and pulled, and Blastoise was torn from the air and slammed down into the ground hard enough to quake the ground beneath my feet and create a crater beneath the fully evolved water types body.

And then it was rose back up into the air by Victreebel.

Blastoise shook its head, shaking off the blunt force impact and glared down at Victreebel, "Blast!" opening its mouth, Blastoise fired off a rapid fire barrage of glowing blue bubbles each as big as my head and as fast as bullets.

Victreebel didn't bother dodging or rather, with his position, couldn't really without loosening his grip, the bubbles slammed into Victreebel with explosive force and despite resisting the water attacks, they rocked him noticeably.

Powering through the attacks, Victreebel pulled and slammed Blastoise down into the ground once more. The bubbles continued all the way down until the turtle was slammed into the ground.

"Stun Spore!" I cut in before Victreebel once again lifted the Blastoise up into the air.

What a stubborn and durable turtle.

While Blastoise was shaking off the impact once again, Victreebel obeyed my orders and bent over, mouth facing Blastoise and spat out a massive cloud of orange spores that washed over the downed water type.

They washed over its form and sunk into its body and immediately its tense muscles went slack, its head slumping and even the scowl on its lips slipping away as it was paralysed by Stun Spore.

It wouldn't last long though.

It would be enough though.

It was time to put the training Victreebel and Bellossom had went through with Shiftry to use.

"Sunny Day then Solar Beam!" I ordered.

At my voiced commands, Victreebel rose back up, body glowing with orange-red light, before spitting out an orb of the same coloured energy that shot up into the air and ballooned in size, becoming a miniature sun that lit up the island and cast solar rays directly down upon us all.

Then Victreebel bent over once more, mouth levelled at the paralysed Blastoise. An orb of shimmering golden-white energy spiralled into existence, growing rapidly.

Within two seconds, it was so big it took up all over Victreebel's mouth, which was saying something considering he could easily fit three of me in there.

"B-bla…" Blastoise groaned and its limbs twitched, slowly it began to move and try to push itself up.

It was too late though.

Victreebel's ability after all is Chlorophyill, just like Shiftry.

With a shriek, Victreebel unleashed his attack, the orb of energy erupting into a massive blinding beam that swept over and slammed into and over Blastoise's body.

The attack continued for a few seconds, the roar of the beam drowning out all other sound, and went it finally dyed down, a massive trench had been carved through the ground and directly in the middle of the trench, kneeling on all fours, body scorched and emitting trails of smoke was Blastoise.

"Blaaaa!" its eyes glared straight at Victreebel and beyond, straight into my eyes.

It still hadn't gone down yet!?

Holy shit, this thing might be as durable as Gary's Wartortle!

Still, another round of Raz-

The glare left Blastoise's eyes and it sighed, before its eyes rolled up into the back of its head and the huge turtle collapsed face first into the dirt unconscious.

…Well that was anti-climactic.

Still, pretty impressive of it nonetheless.

Quickly palming a pokeball, I wasted no time in rushing over to the Blastoise and tapping the red and white sphere to its comatose form.

The ball clicked open and fired out a beam of red light that swept over the huge pokemon, and seconds later it was pulled inside, the ball clicking shut and vibrating lightly in my hand.

A few moments later, a familiar ping of success, the forty seventh I've heard today actually rang out from the ball as the capture succeeded and Blastoise became mine.

I stared at the pokeball for a moment, before grinning and sticking it to my belt. Thankfully, my pokedex has the transfer system that allows for the transference of pokeballs to Viridian City, though I can't call them to me without a transfer machine.

No idea how my phone has that capability to be honest, but, there's no answers I can find for how it changed, so I just gotta roll with it.

Anyway, thanks to that handy dandy feature, I'd already sent all the Squirtle and Wartortle I'd caught off to Viridian City.

'Nurse Joy is gonna end up pulling her hair out.' I couldn't help but chuckle.

I'll need to do something nice for her. Sure, the league provides funds for sponsors looking after pokemon, and the sponsor got a small little bonus added on for each pokemon they looked after, and with all the pokemon I've got Nurse Joy is bound to be making a pretty penny off of me-

But I still dumped forty four pokemon on her to look after today. Gyarados, Dragonite and Blastoise will be sticking with me for now until I get them on board with the grind train.

Shaking my head, I made my away over to Victreebel, "Good job mate, You took him down solo!" I praised.

I had to spread my arms wide to catch the huge plant pokemon as he lunched at me.

Thankfully, while awkwardly shaped, he's much lighter than Golem so I could hold him mid-air as he nuzzled me without falling on my ass.
