There was a near echo of silence throughout the trainer lounge.
Serena found her eyes drifting from Ash to the assembled group a few tables down. There was an assortment of wide-eyed looks traded between the two tables. Mostly between her group of three and the duo of May and Dawn.
Serena oddly found herself with the urge to hiss at them to back off. Keep these hussies away from her sort of, maybe...man.
She couldn't help it. They were gorgeous. Even as a girl herself, Serena had no problems admitting it. These two girls were utterly stunning, far beyond the average girl.
Dawn looked like a princess straight out of the movie business. With her long shimmering dark blue hair and deep blue eyes so dark they almost looked black. A black tank top clung tightly to the womanly curves of her torso, emphasizing her considerable bust, a simple sleeveless pink vest hanging over her tank top to complete her torso. Her flared hips, adorned with a stylish black mini-skirt that showed off the tips of her mouth watering thighs. Her long legs were bare travelling down into a pair of perky pink boots with black knee length socks pulling up above their tips ever so slightly.
And if Dawn was the princess, May was the bombshell. A red bandanna was pulled tight around her head, lustrous brown hair spilling out beneath it and flaring out in an upside down 'V' shape framing around May's enchanting face. Like Dawn, she had dark blue eyes, although hers seemed more like the dusk of the night sky, twinkling with flecks of lighter blue that looked almost like stars in some lights. She like Dawn wore a tank top, and hers was sleeveless as well. Unlike Dawn's though, hers was red with blue trim that led up a hood connected at the back, dark blue pullies dangling around her shoulders. Her breasts were entirely too eye catching in the top, so large and perfectly round Serena could make out the small pleasant jiggle that happened just from her breathing.
How the heck could they be so big and perky at the same time?
Like Dawn again, May wore a skirt. Although hers was atleast a bit longer, and white in colour with dark blue trim to match her tank top. The way it flared around her hips though showed just how voluptuous she was in all aspects. A yellow fanny pack connected the top and skirt together as a belt. Her own peachy skinned legs were adorned by black tights that reached to the bottom of her thighs and led down into a pair of comfortable, yet fashionable red shoes.
Without being vain, Serena knew she was good looking and with an attractive figure of her own. The amount of times the likes of Tierno and Trevor turned into sputtering messes around her was proof enough of that. But both these two girls, were enough to make her suddenly feel incredibly self conscious.
A high pitched squeal from the group at the other table forced Serena from her self deprecating thoughts and almost drew a wince from her ringing ears.
The older male in the odd belly button bearing Cacturne suit practically floated over to the television screen, a giddy smile on his face and his eye shining with some vibrant emotion that Serena couldn't place.
It felt malicious though.
“Ooooh!” he chirped, his hands clasped together against his cheek, “Why if it isn't lover boy! And isn't he looking just scrumptious these days?” Harley hummed in seeming appreciation, batting his eyes at the screen before turning his attention on the group of Coordinators.
Serena felt her eyes widen, a horrible feeling shooting through her stomach. Lover boy? And why was this guy so interested in Ash's appearance? Were even men her competition now!?
“Tch,” the green haired boy, Drew if she remembered right flicked his hair with a contemptuous snort, “Ketchum's looking as scruffy as ever, hasn't that damn Primeape learned how to use a brush?” he bit out, dislike evident in his tone.
Serena actually felt offended at that. She loved Ash's wild and messy hair, it fit him as a person and looked amazing at the same time. She wanted nothing more than to run her hands through it as he held her close.
She shook her head. More importantly at this point, it seemed all these well known Coordinators knew Ash. And knew him quite well it seemed. That could be another problem, the other girls beyond May and Dawn were beautiful in their own right as well. Solidad had that mature older girl look going for her while Zoey rocked a cool tomboy look that fit her so well.
The pudgy brown haired boy, Keiran or Kenny she thought his name was let out a loud groan, “Seriously, a day doesn't go by when Dawn isn't bringing him up about something,” he said, palming his hand to his forehead, “He's cool and all, but I could do without him constantly butting into my life when he isn't even in the same freaking Region!” The almost longing glance he sent towards the blue haired girl was all anybody in attendance needed to realize why it bothered him.
Serena practically felt Miette simmer beside her. Standing up from her chair, Miette threw a finger in the direction of the green haired Coordinator, “You've not got much room to talk when it comes to hair,” she near sneered at him. Sneered! Serena had never seen the expression on the normally fun loving and teasing girl, “You look like somebody fashioned some freshly cut grass into a wig and glued it to your scrawny dome!”
Harley snorted, erupting into a furious gale of giggles. Drew himself shot upwards, face flushing hotly in indignation, “Listen here you stupid little bi-
He was cut off by Harley waving his hand in front of his face, drawing in his girlish laughter, “Don't mind him,” he waved off with a guffaw, “He's just mad because the last time they met lover boy almost snapped him in half.”
“Snapped him in half?” Shauna almost gasped, disbelief in her tone and a certain undertone of need to know. As nice as she was, the curvy brunette had a thing for gossip.
Serena couldn't help but be curious herself. It sounded rather violent, and outside of the likes of that evil Malamar and Team Flare, Ash rarely ever resorted to even coming close to violent. He was always so gentle despite his almost unreal physical strength.
And boy was he strong. She'd seen Ash do some crazy things with body strength alone.
May broke out of the kind of weird stupor the three of them were in, Serena, May and Dawn. Ending their odd three way staring contest, she turned towards Harley and waved her hands quickly, “Shut up Harley!” she near hissed at the effeminate older boy, lunging at him and making a grab for his shoulders.
The older male merely spun out of the way quickly, “Oh yes, Drew said some particularly mean things to little May here back when she travelled through Kanto with lover boy,” he pointed at May, his face splitting with an almost evil yet at the same time, giddy smile, “Well, to sum it up..lover boy punched our dainty little Drew, folded him over his fist like a manly man and left little dainty Drew pitifully gasping for breath like like some kind of Magikarp out of water.”
Drew roared angrily, his fists clenched, “Screw you faggot!” he snarled, eyes practically vibrating with rage. Serena feared for a moment things would get violent, but after taking a breath the green haired teen turned on his feet and stamped out of the trainer lounge, “I'm outta here, you losers can stay and gush over that jackass Ketchum all you like!”
Harley giggled again, “Such a little drama queen,” he said, standing up to his full height and placing one hand on his hip, “It wasn't like I said anything that wasn't true either.” the purple haired coordinator continued.
May sighed, “Really Harley?” she groaned, “You know how he gets whenever Ash is brought up.”
A snort off to the side drew everyone's attention, “Let him sulk like the little girl he is,” Max commented as he made his way over, a satisfied smirk on his lips, “Drew's all talk, he likes to make snide little insults about Ash but is far too much of a coward to confront him after what happened last time.”
Dawn groaned, turning her attention to Kenny, “Can you go make sure Drew doesn't do anything stupid?” she asked, “Last time Harley brought this up, he went and got beat up by Paul after mouthing off.” And that was only a couple of weeks ago too.
Somehow, Drew had gotten it into his head, while as angry as he was that he'd defeat Ash's main rival and prove just how incompetent the Pallet born trainer was. Suffice to say, he lost...badly. And then Paul kicked the crap out of him for all the insults he kept spewing about Ash.
Seriously, when did Ash and Paul become friends?
Kenny let out a groan of his own, “Really?” he almost whined, “Last time I had to pull Paul off of him and he almost kicked my ass as well
