yea alot of this show was trying to get as far away from the 87 series as possible, the only references are outfit gags and a cameo name drop I won't spoil. Lloyd Goldfine who was the showrunner hated the 87 cartoon but loved the comics. and Peter Laird basically co ran it with him or atleast worked VERY closely on it.

2023-09-07 06:04:00 +0000 UTCThe Fugitoid is voiced by David Tennant in the 2012 cartoon who is a very well known british actor known for his role as the tenth doctor in Doctor Who and the villain Killgrave in Jessica Jones. He is not the same voice actor as the 2003 version but yes they sound very alike it's hard to tell the difference.
