2022-08-10 12:29:50 +0000 UTCI think Berserker Heracles is on of the best examples of how the system of Servants realized by the Grail is quite limiting - the Grail can only provide the "class containers" for the Heroic Spirits to inhabit, because summoning an actual full Heroic Spirit is beyond even the capabilities of the Grail. For many Servants, it's not quite so obvious, but most if not all Servants are severely nerfed by being summoned into a class container. Heracles is a good example of that, but even our beloved Saber (Artoria) loses access to her Lance, her Mount, etc. as Saber.

2022-08-08 15:03:12 +0000 UTCTo my understanding if u get summoned as a berserker you lose the ability use some of your skills to some extent but your stats go up by a level. I believe they sometimes refer to stats as S,A,B etc. S being the best.

2022-08-08 14:38:34 +0000 UTCLoved the reaction! Personally, I think Saber Alter vs. Berserker is one of the most visually stunning fights in the series, but to each their own! Also, this Shirou is very different from the Fate and UBW versions - remember, he said he wanted to be a Hero of Justice for Sakura alone. That is very different from his other mindsets where he wants to save everyone without distinction. He is basically betraying his own ideals, as he alluded to in the knife scene. He is actually willing to let innocent people die for a chance (only a chance!) to save Sakura. Oh, and he would not have succeeded in killing Sakura, Rider would have killed him first as she was in the room in spirit form. It is actually a choice at this point in the visual novel, and if you choose to kill Sakura, you get a Bad Ending because Rider kills you :D Oh, and while Saber Alter seems super OP, it is mostly because she has a basically unlimited mana source. That means she can use her Prana Burst skill as much as she pleases, as well as her Noble Phantasm - which is now called Excalibur Morgan. Under normal circumstances Saber Alter isn't actually stronger than normal Saber.

2022-08-07 19:44:18 +0000 UTCReason why hercules isn't able to use any of his abilities / noble phantasms is because he has gone mad due to being summoned as a berserker. While I haven't read or watched any other serieses that contain hercules in being summoned in different classes but the common theme I have noticed is that most if not all of them consider berserker hercules being the weakest of all of them. Edit: in the videos I have seen about hercules being summoned in different classes in different serieses
