I think you are underestimating Lancer (Cu Chulainn) a bit. He is a top tier Servant under normal circumstances. His main drawback is his abysmal Luck stat; his raw combat abilities are really good. He is basically Irish Hercules, a demigod with a really deadly Noble Phantasm that does not even use a lot of mana. It's just that he is unlucky in this War because the other Servants are super strong as well. Also, Gae Bolg is normally a pretty sure kill, but half the Servants in this War have methods of avoiding the "Reverse Cause and Effect" sure thing kill (Saber's High Luck Stat, Berserker would just lose 1 life, etc.). Good thing the next episode is Archer vs Lancer :D

2022-07-16 19:06:59 +0000 UTCHey yall, I just pause the reaction. I noticed yall were a bit confused at the beginning of episode 16 I think yall may have missed a scene, because it showed Gilgamesh ripping out Illya's heart. Hopefully this clears things up.
