Ymir's Jaw titan appearance is never explained and there are lots of theories, here I will share the one that I believe most: -So, you know how a titan appearance differs from one shifter to another (for example, Eren's Attack titan looks more fit than his father's, that looked kinda chubby). In Ymir's case, since she spend so much time as a Pure titan (an abnormal to be precise, because she seemed to have developed depresion as a titan) she became "attached" to that appearance and then regained her human form and the ability to transform (by eating Marcel), thats why the only thing that changed between her Pure and Jaw titan is that her teeth and fingernails sharpened a little (No face armor :c). You could say it's a nerfed version of the Jaw titan xD.

I believe "Porco" is his name and "Galliard" his last name "Porco Galliard" sounds kinda cool ngl.

The writing for Reiner in Season 1-3 was absolute A-tier. But in Season 4 it's on an even higher level. You don't necessarily need to love the guy (personally I think he's one of the most compelling characters on the show), but the depth of his characterisation is second to none.

Yes Zeke has royal blood, but he's hiding it

which is interesting, since even though Reiner was talking shit, Gabi was still confused by the idea of the Eldians being "diverse"

the thing with rainer's family is that when they asked rainer about the horrors he went through in paradis island, he talked about normal stuff and normal people (which contradicts the image they have of the "island devils") which leaded gaby to almost doubt about the "heartlessness" of paradis people.

When Reiner was recounting what he went through in the island of devils, he was recounting nothing more than normal or even funny every day incidents (starting with our infamous potato girl. If you ever rewatch the show, that scene will carry so much more weight). He was recounting the incidents in an ominous tone (because that's what's expected when talking about paradis island), but everyone on the table could tell that the things he was saying weren't "devilish", just ridiculous normal things = and hence the elefant-in-the-room silence that followed. Gabi asks: "what do you mean that there's all sorts of people there? Aren't they all devils?" Reiner's mom clocks in on what he is trying to do, and jumps to reaffirm Gabi in the narrative that gets drilled into Eldians outside the walls: the island dwellers are devils, and it is because of these devils that the Eldians of the world are suffering. In the scene with little Falco, Reiner is kind of reminding him of what he must always say in order not to raise any suspicions, and to always look loyal to Marley. But then leans in and tells him to save Gabi from the "ugly future that awaits them" (them, as in titan shifters: the fact that they die very young, and in a gruesome manner). That's why later on we see Falco thinking: "can I trust him?", it means: "can I trust Reiner to be free of the narrative that everyone here subscribes to - the narrative stating that it is an honor to become a titan and serve Marley-?". I personally wouldn't use the word "brainwashing" because it is not truly a brainwashing; things like this happen in the real world all of the time. It is quite smart how Marley used the fact that the Eldian king turned his back on his people, and left them to suffer on the world's continents - they used that fact to fuel the hate that Eldians within Marley have towards the Eldians in the walls. It's all rooted in "half-truths", and in the real world, people tend to hate those closest to them first. The man who jumps from the roof is a random soldier returning from war. It's a reminder of how life looks like for Eldians in intermittent zones.

Yes.. Gresha Yeager Parents, Eren's grandparents.. the OG Dr. Yeager.

not to imply the season is bad or anything. season 4 has by far some of my favorite episodes.

There's also something with the armbands I'd thought should be cleared up just in case; White / No Colour - Ordinary Eldian Yellow - Warrior Candidate Red - Warrior / Honorary Marleyan (Also given to their immediate family) The rest of them also don't know that Zeke has royal blood, which is why he can control the titans he turns. Zekes Grandparents are Grishas Mother and Father. Gabi is Reiners Cousin. The Warhammer Titan is the only titan we haven't seen so far (the last of the 9). The Tybur family are Eldians, but they are part of the Marleyan elite, they helped during the Great Titan War and have thus kept their status, power and influence, they are probably the only family considered to be *Good* Eldians. Galliard is also sometimes nicknamed as Pock or Porco just to avoid confusion too.

Jake

wit didnt want to do season 4 because they didn't want to give them enough time to work on it so they handed it to mappa. thats why there's a bunch of rotoscoping and cgi titans, to save time.

NachiLeFay

Or is it?
