Your analysis is fun, and the visuals here will give you plenty to analyze. As for your question, Black Clover is not quite a straightforward anime than you think ;) plot twists are PLOTTING, and the latter arcs even more so. There are tropey characters though but I love the core characters so I don't mind as much.

Exactly, this opening 8 was easily the worst. We agree and I think the general public agrees, Black Clover has about 2 bad songs in the opening, it is by far the worst.
