13:45 i don't know if you just not aware how emotions work like grief and stuff but a lot of people don't get his expressions when i think what he is showing is easy to read. It always makes me very sad because this emotion tells you a lot about his character without knowing anything about his past.

2025-07-23 23:35:21 +0000 UTCLevi just processes his grief differently than most, something like how Mikasa did when Eren died in the earlier episodes. Levi is more seasoned and much older so he didn't have a breakdown like Mikasa did.

People might disagree and say I am just nitpicking but I just don't see what the point of letting him know that something specific will happen is. You could make a comment about something else without any spoilers. Or maybe you didn't intend for Branturnal to read this comment but for other viewers to read, like an inside joke (I think I know what scene you're talking about). If so, then I would hope the proofreader knows to hide comments from Branturnal that aren't intended for him to read.

2025-05-30 02:44:08 +0000 UTCThe reason the female titan wasn’t fighting back against eren at first is because she was still healing from the damage Levi squad did. Her shoulders (and thus her arms) and one eye were still out of commission. And I think the real tragedy of this episode is that the information Levi and Erwin were able to gleen from the failed capture attempt couldn’t be relayed to everyone else in time. I feel like Levi squad could’ve stood a better chance if they knew she could harden, call titans, etc. But all they could go off of was their own experience. They tried to be cautious, but they just couldn’t think of (tbh who would considering even Erwin didn’t?) what sort of abilities the titan would have. They were legitimately strong and I think they could’ve lasted a much longer time in the show, but they were just unlucky in that they had to try to deal with her without having enough information.

I would comment more but it's so hard without straying even without wanting to into spoiler territory. Can't wait for more! Long live Isayama's cliff hangers.
