These options are what I’ve gathered from here, YouTube, and from what I’ve heard are less emotionally draining! Some of the picks (like HxH, Frieren) are shows I’ve heard a LOT about but have never had the chance to dive into! 🗺️
Just because a show isn’t as deep or story-driven as AOT doesn’t mean I won’t be diving into it with the same mindset! 🔍 I love deep dives and exploring everything, even if it ends up meaning nothing. (Not saying these shows aren’t deep at all — just that they seem lighter than AOT!)
I put a ton of options to give you all a variety to choose from! 🌟 Once voting is done, I’ll work on a schedule that works for us!
⚔️ AOT will still be priority until we finish it, and whatever we pick will likely be around 3-4 episodes a week, compared to AOT’s 14 per week.

2025-05-30 16:21:42 +0000 UTCHave you watched Tokyo Ghoul? I think it could be a good replacement for attack on Titan once you’ve finished. But I do recommend reading the manga afterwards if you like the show. It’d clear up a lot of stuff and personally I think it’s much better than the anime.

Demon Slayer is a phenomenal anime, but out of the many ways to describe it, lighthearted isn't really one of them lol. Definitely recommend it for after AOT is finished, but Haikyuu would be perfect to watch alongside it, as it's very fun and has lots of comedy and good vibes :)

I had to watch Spy X Family, Horimiya, Apothecary Diaries, Mashle, Saiki K to heal from AOT before I had the guts to watch Demon Slayer lol 🤭 I love Demon Slayer, I'm watching it rn but idk if it's suited to watch at the same time with AOT.

2025-05-28 19:23:34 +0000 UTCObviously, demon slayer is the best, but at the same time as AOT? I don’t think so. Haikyu is more suitable for you to watch because it doesn’t think much and it can ease your mind too. But after you finish AOT, demon slayer is the perfect choice.
