She loves him and he, stout paladin that he is, cannot imagine giving himself to another woman, but she's a bit wilder than Dor and finds all his rigid laws and traditions a bit too confining. As a result, she's prone to wanderlust and it is sometimes weeks or even months between visits with Dor. To Ke, with her elven perception of passing time, these absences are brief and barely worth noticing. She strays, finds a friend or foe to divert her attention for a time, then returns to find Dor and pick up where she left off.
It's no wonder that Dor is perpetually frayed around the edges whenever he's not working...
