Edwin deserves to blow up (mini comic #678)

It drives me crazy TRULY insane that the version of the mimic Edwin would have beaten up, was the M2 lil David version. That makes me so sad dawg, chills me to my core, just sickly even

I know the mimic isn’t actually a child, but they are mimicking one, and specifically David. Mean hell, the mimic keeps the quirk of their arm holding a plushie even into their later forms like in Ruin. So that traumatic event of being David is still just cooked into them even decades later.

I get Edwin was a very unwell man by this point after his father, wife and child dying. But man, I do not blame the mimic for not helping him. Only mocking him when Edwin exploded, it’s a truly messed up scene but I get the mimic. The mimics story is all about how, someone innocent, a victim of abuse can become as violent as their abuser. It’s tragic, this is sorta why I love the mimic now and kinda hope they have some sorta good ending. Just destroying is a selfish way to fix the problem, the mimic I think could be redeemed

Wanted to draw this out to basically share my turmoil of this scene BAHAH please everyone hug little M2, adopt them, care for them, they deserve it, anyway!! I hope you enjoy this comic!! 🩵💜

⭐️BTW new sets of stickers are being shipped to me now! I also have other big plans for the online shop I have, which I’ll go into more detail in a bigger post about it/ when I have more to show for it!! But I’ll definitely be asking yalls opinions of it then so keep a look out for that post! ^^
