I like to come out and say I personally apologize to the nightmare critters. Cause they got done so unbelievably dirty by their own chapter I’m shocked, and I was listening in close for any mention of them through the whole thing

I know we were told pretty early on that the nightmare critters weren’t the main villian, despite being the first promotional images, which I think was the right choice to make them more or less a side threat. Though I didn’t expect we’d get absolutely nothing on them, instead of them being super important they are.. not important at all. I swear there isn’t one mention of them through the whole chapter, not a note, voice line or cardboard cut out. Not even art on the walls, I don’t even think they get name dropped once. Even by the doctor who has them as like little pets.

SO the fact they got done so dirty feels like I gotta draw them so they have some content cause that’s crazy, these little guys didn’t even need a lot of set up, so imma make up my own. Yeah the doctor wears a bigger coat just so he can hold all the critters, that’s definitely canon and real! PFF BUT FR this was fun to draw out, just a truly silly idea that entered my mind that I needed to draw out in full. Those are the doctors other lil guys next to Yarnaby, his many problem children. First poppy comic that’s on its own, I did consider combining it with FNAF but I think the idea is just funnier with just its own characters. Drew the main character, listen till that dude gets a full design, he’s just that lil yellow guy in canon BAHAH also the nightmare critters how I drew them truly make me sob, they are cuties, anyway!!
