Okay, so investigating the mysterious worldwide outage of Fluffbook with Pur-Ling perhaps wasn't the best idea. Its strange, robotic, dweeb chicken creator - the deranged Mat Cluckerberg did not take kindly to kitties poking their muzzles into his business. He was none too pleased when he found them snooping around his servers either. Luckily, he'd got just the place to stash these unwanted, meddling do-gooders...the stinky disused basement of his very own Cluckerberg Towers.

Pur-Ling had thought she could smell a rat when the popular social media website went down and had suspected the suspicious, creepy chicken of fowl play. Bringing down his own website to overload rival site Y (formerly Squawker) with millions upon millions of people Squawking "OMG I can't log in to Fluffbook", "Fluffbook has signed me out", and similar tales of social woe. He's even nipped on there himself and started the hashtag #FluffbookDown to stir things up even more.

Thankfully for Y (formerly Squawker), their own head of fancy digital stuffs, the walrus Eton Tusk, had made sure his own site would stay up and running by calling Pur-Ling personally to look into the outage at Fluffbook. And so what if she was entertaining Jeni at the time? He could come to. This was a cyber emergency!

Unfortunately, things hadn't gone to plan (as mentioned up there a bit). The duo had been nabbed, caught in the act of trying to plug Cluckerberg's servers back in to the mains and escorted off the premises in paw-cuffs. Now, all they could do was wait as Cluckerberg took over the whole WWW with his fiendish plan. Well, they could struggle as well I guess. That would be more useful.

Pur-Ling thought that too and tried to pick the lock of her cuffs with her secret cuff-unlocking-claw technique. Jeni, on the other paw, was being less than helpful, quietly trying to read all the graffiti on the walls and wondering how many words you could make out of "You're not going to escape".

Will Pur-Ling escape in time to save Y (formerly Squawker)? Will Jeni get more than a six-letter word? Will Cluckerberg be brought to justice? Will Fluffbook ever be the same again?

All these questions and more shall not be answered next week. Unless of course, you REALLY want a follow up to this nonsense!
